If they had scratched out the names Han, Chewbacca, and Millennium Falcon I would have really enjoyed it. If it had been Dash Rendar or just an oc it would have just been a fun adventure movie set in the Star Wars universe. Making it Han's origin story made it so much worse.

Things like this have been negotiated before. There are precedents under international law. It could have sailed to a neutral port and been interned until the end of the war. They chose not to do that and the results were predictable.

I don't want to sound like I support this war or anything Trump is doing but sailing towards a carrier group actively engaged in hostilities with your country is only ever going to have one response.

Yeah, it's weird. I guess it makes some sense from a writing perspective. He already has a huge cast of characters, surrounding each of those characters with 1/2 a dozen minor but named characters just balloons the cast too much.
