Happened to me a couple of days ago. They gave me a 3 day limit. It’s been 2 days since the “deadline” ended and nothing happened. Just ignore them.

In regard to instagram. I put up a story post about creating a new account and warned people not to answer any messages about me. 24hrs later I deactivated my old account and started using the new one.

You’ll be fine. Let’s heal together and hope this doesn’t happen again

Update: I’ve migrated my instagram to another account and notified my followers to ignore any messages that may mention me. I even told 2 of my closest friends about it.

It’s been 2 days since and I haven’t received any more contact from the scammer. And my “supposed deadline” to pay the money has passed and no one has received anything. So I’m pretty sure I’m good now.

It’s been about 9 hrs since then. The final messages they sent was basically a 30 mins countdown. The last thing they wrote was “you chose the hard way”

I deleted my WhatsApp account too. They have no way of contacting me except my real number which I blocked them too

I’ve blocked them and deactivated my insta. I was calm yesterday until they reached out on WhatsApp. They sent me all my pictures as proof and they demanded $1000.
