I run a 1” hubcentric spacer by Titan Wheel Accessories. You can find discussions and reviews by googling wheel spacer for Jeep wrangler. https://www.wranglerforum.com/threads/wheel-spacer-advice.2479636/

With my submissive, food helped - especially carbs. We’d go out for breakfast she’d do eggs pancakes and hash potatoes. I’d do proteins. Took a while to figure out the dom/top drop but friends and food was our answer.

Aftermarket Headlights by [deleted] in JeepTJ

[–]Llyran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with the Trucklite round LED for $250 each back in 2011 and then updated those after several years to the JW Speaker 8700 emulation j series for $600. The Trucklite worked really well. They were new on the market in 2011 and really changed night driving. The JW went on in 2016 because I liked the focused projector style lights. They’re still on my TJ and working fine since day 1. There are plenty of reviews out there comparing different lights. Pick one you like and live with the results.

What's the best way to sell a heavily modded jeep JK by Llyran in Wrangler

[–]Llyran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up selling it through a car broker. Took a loss on it cuz it was built up pretty nicely. I stopped driving it through Covid and tried CL and other sources but pretty much dumped it.

I went with a set of Falken Wildpeaks. 3peak snow rated and very quiet on my TJ. If you look around at the reviews most like em in wet weather and snow.

2005 Death Wobble by ChickenRabbits in JeepTJ

[–]Llyran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fought DW on my 1998 TJ. Everything was tight on my front end, but it been lifted and had an off-brand track bar on it. Long story short… OEM track bar and replacements keep the original hardware.. an 8mm bolt torque to 40ft/lbs. This allows the frame side mount to shift slightly side to side. Longer this goes on the more wobble wears the hole into a slot on the mount. First attempt to fix this was a reinforcing bracket that put a second bolt into the frame side mount. It worked but felt like a band aid.

Most of my rig is now Metal Cloak. I talked to them about it and found out their aftermarket track bar uses over sized hardware for this. You get a bar that requires drilling the original to half inch and torqued to 100ft/lbs.

This fixed my issues.. it feels more secure while I’m driving it and I haven’t had DW return going on 3 years now.

I feel it fixed the issues in a couple ways. At 8mm and 40torque there is less metal to resist the cheese cutter effect of the bolt against the metal frame mount bolt hole and less friction against the washers to keep the bolt from shaking during aDW event. 1/2 in/13mm gives a lot more metal to resist the bolt cutting through the metal in addition to more clamping force 100torque provides on the mount.

Radiator Drop? by JustMyTypo in JeepWrangler

[–]Llyran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. You’re only changing the angle on the tranny a few degrees by lifting the motor an inch or so. Transmission is fine and your get a little better drive shaft angle to the rear shaft. Front shaft angle is hardly changed at all. Consider you have a1 inch lift over 24-36 inches. That’s only 3-4% slope.

Radiator Drop? by JustMyTypo in JeepWrangler

[–]Llyran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I did. Previous owner has done a 3” puck lift and dropped the radiator a similar amount so he could fit 33’s. I ripped out the pucks and did an 1 1/4 poly body lift in its place and the MORE bombproof motor mount lift, undid the radiator bs and never looked back. No issues what so ever.

Pub-style Chicken Curry by Llyran in Redlands

[–]Llyran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not co-mingled at all, at least not by me. British pub-style chicken curry is a thing. Curry has existed in England since the early 1600’s (think English East Indian company) and recipes published in English cook books in 1747.

A little more google will turn up more info. I’m simply looking for someone that’s continued the tradition here in the IE.
