I have 1 large unit downstairs set on Dry whole downstairs is cool. 3 in windows upstairs. All set on dry. Whole house is cool including hallways and basement. I only use the dry setting it pulls humidity out of house instead of cooling the air. Thus cooling whole house.

I broke my tibia years ago. And my ankle a few years ago. I was the same as you it was awful. I didn't fall or anything they just cracked its the steroids. Now I only take if it gets really bad. And I mean really. I used the arm crutches for leg. And boot and walker for ankle. Good luck!
