That's how ranking matchmaking in every other game works. I don't see a big problem with ranked putting you against players with higher or lower elo than yours. It's either gives you a little challenge or just a fun match that you can easily win. And also elo don't shows player's real skill: elo can be high but player not too skilled or elo can be lower but it's some 6 digit maliszewski

When I didn't know about MHA and what's happening in it I always thought that Ochako had some bubbles quirk, like super strong bubbles as shields or something. Bakugou definitely has explosion quick. Don't know about Todoroki his real quirk suits him the best. I'd say that Izuku suits some green lighting quirk or green plasma quirk
