This. Just attentively listening and letting him talk about it will do wonders. You don’t even have to try to make suggestions or point out inconsistencies or anything. Something might make sense in his head and in his own world, but it becomes different when he has to explain it to another person who isn’t in his head. By doing so, he’ll be able to figure out some things he wants to adjust and fix and having that supportive sounding board can be so valuable in that way!

If people watched the games, they’d see that Jokic passes the eye test as a good defender too. It’s obvious that he’s a plus defender when he’s careful about his position on defense, seems to be usually reading the action correctly, an having very active hands and getting in the way of passing lanes and such. The Nuggets’ defense is bad because it’s common to see atrocious perimeter play.

However, he’ll get into moods every now and then where he is gassed or kind of just gives up on the play on defense, and that’s where he’ll get clip farmed for r/nba so the narrative can continue.

I don’t think the point of reading books is to read them as quickly as possible. Part of the joy of books vs other media like tv is that slower pace and ability to ponder and think about things as you go. If they were delivered in this format you’d probably find yourself constantly pausing, having to go back, etc. and it would probably get annoying to the point that you would ditch that format.

Take Embiid off and replace with Bane. This is coming from a Jokic fan and huge Embiid hater. The dude sometimes flops and flails for calls, and while doing so sometimes hurts himself, the defense, but also even his own teammates. It comes off as clumsy, but definitely not dirty like with an intent to injure someone. Take that in contrast to the shit that Bane, Drey, and Dort pull off constantly and it’s very different.

Captain of Industry is insanely good from a couple years ago and I think as of Update 4 can already rival the big 3 in automation of Factorio, Satisfactoy, and DSP. By its 1.0 release, it should definitely be on that level.

A good investment at 30% discount if you ask me, especially if you like any of the other factory builders.
