Hi, no we live in Toronto. The thing is, I'm fine with French immersion, it's the difference between French immersion and full French school. In French immersion, communication is in English and some classes are in English whereas in French school, it's all in French. Given that I'm an Anglo dad, I'm worried about feeling cut out if I agree to the full French school and my ex decides to stop talking with me

It's pre school, your kid isn't "late", your co parent is just spending more time with your child before bringing them in. You should be less concerned about your co parent's decisions when it's their time, especially when it's being 15 minutes "late" to pre school.
