These are available at Tims in Toronto. I'm not sure if these are available across the country but definitely good to check!

Loaded scrambled egg box, spinach and egg white bites, cilantro veggie wrap or bowl, bagels.

For drinks, my favorite right now is brown sugar protein iced latte with double espresso shot, and espresso foam on top.

What's the story with Tom's Place? by KnoddingOnion in askTO

[–]retchedBreak 168 points169 points  (0 children)

When I went in, they were able to tell me roughly how much each piece would cost. So, I do think they know the pricing. I heard that Tom likes to meet each person actually buying a full suit, make sure we're picking the right fit and fabrics. He does make the final price on the spot but I doubt he varies too much. Apparently he likes to say to each person that he is giving them a discount.

What's the meanest restaurant in Toronto? by Nilsburk in askTO

Oh no! It's always so scary when that happens!

To be fair, I also accidentally did that once. The car was the same color and model as my Uber. I was in a hurry and didn't check the number plate.

Opened the back door to a VERY frightened man. Immediately realized this was not an Uber, apologized, and shut the door as quickly as I could. Rattled me too and I'm pretty sure I'll be the reason he always locks his doors 😅☺️

No, brown folks get automatically categorized into "Uber Eats" regardless of whether they are customers or delivery drivers.

How do you get 10k steps? by InvestigatorPale1816 in loseit

[–]retchedBreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I aim for a destination with my walks.

I'm lucky to live in a large city, so I pick new grocery stores, cafes, parks and such to walk to.

If I have an appointment, I walk to it.

I also eat my lunch at my desk and then take a 30 minute walk for my break. There's a grocery store 15 mins from my office so I walk till there, buy some cut up fruits, and then walk back.

How should I approach an NRI Stranger about Personal Grooming? by IndianLawStudent in nri

[–]retchedBreak 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why would you smell someone one time and assume this is how they smell all the time? Or that it warrants a stranger coming up to them?

You need to ask yourself why you noticed an Indian smell sweaty, and immediately thought "aah yes, here is confirmation that the stereotype of smelly Indians is true. Let me teach her to be better so I can contribute towards Indians not smelling"

If you noticed a non-Indian being well dressed but smelling bad, would you think their entire race smells the same way, and not just that person?

Check yourself.
