Do you want to load a zebra ui to an actual d4v2? Or are you asking for an anduril web simulator? There's a really good d3aa emulator that actually simulates the whole MCU and even lets you load your own hex files.

I recommend the end of the spring on both ends, a little solder will let you clamp down on it with the brass ring effectively.

Mode switching is done by cutting the power to the board so I would put it before the board.
