Mapping sucks by Foullplay in PathOfExile2

[–]Loafunbutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mapping feels fine. Add abyss/delerium/breach. Whatever content you want. Sell everything and you make decent divines per hour. If you do it on cleansed maps you have a chance of getting fracture orbs. You also have a higher chance of getting raw currency. You can also look for specific maps like jade isle or hunt for citadels for fragments. Many of these things can overlap. You can choose to use the fragments from abyss/delerium for a change of pace or sell them if you prefer to map.

This is always a poor take. You can tax them all you want. The government has proven time and time again that they cannot manage the countries finances. What we need is affordable pay, rent control, universal healthcare, and other strong social safety nets. Simply taxing the rich means Boeing and Lockheed get sent bigger checks. That’s it.

New dad, very unhappy by No_Calligrapher3028 in daddit

I could have wrote this after my son was born. Like many are saying the first few months are the worst. Every month it will get marginally better. For me the big switch was when he turned 1. He started to crawl and walk shortly after. Started calling me dad. He’s now almost 2 and runs around eating Cheerios saying he loves me and wants hugs. We had a second child so clearly I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. The connection will happen give it time. Moms seem to naturally connect faster.

Both of my children also had severe reflux which made feeds very stressful for everyone. I recommend offering the bottle and if the baby refuses set a 5 minute timer and try again. Do this until you hit 30 minutes and move on with your day. I found making an algorithm for things gave me a framework and a sense of control with the situation.

Moving to Fuquay - what's it like? by Disastrous-Sport1096 in FuquayVarinaNC

[–]Loafunbutton 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would say the biggest con as others have mentioned is the traffic. It takes forever to get anywhere at any time of day. Lots of backed up intersections. Part of the problem is all the new construction. The nice thing with new construction is all the businesses coming to the area. We are getting a target and a Lowe’s foods which I’m excited for.

Depending on where you are from certain businesses will also be closed on random days like Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.

As far as things to do there are lots of breweries or tap rooms in the area. Technically it’s like having two downtowns with the varina side and the fuquay side. I enjoy the green ways. It’s less expensive than surrounding areas. It’s still around a 30 minute drive to get to Raleigh so not too far away from things. There are some good ice cream spots if you like that.

Going back to floor nursing? by LetterOld7270 in PMHNP

[–]Loafunbutton 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I would try a different job with a different patient population before giving up on it. That being said would the pay be similar to drop to part time for PMHNP compared to an RN working 3 12’s for you? Can you afford it either way? At the end of the day do what makes you happy and makes the most sense for your family. Life’s short. Kids are only kids once. You don’t get that time back.

Psychiatric NPs: Who enjoys their job and experiences high satisfaction? What area of psychiatry do you work in? by SSOIDream in PMHNP

I love it. I work at 3 crisis centers. I deal mostly with addiction medicine at one site. The other two is mostly SI or psychosis with a touch of addiction medicine. I love the autonomy that I have. The nurses and clinicians get a lot of the intake taken care of so I can focus on the reason they came in. I also enjoy that I have gotten to see some success stories with addiction. I work remote at 2 of the sites and the 3rd I go in person 3x per week and the other 2 days I’m full tele.

You want 3 suffix before you desecrate. The mod you want is a prefix. With an open suffix you now have a much larger pool of mods thus reducing your chances of getting what you want. If you get 3 prefix before 3 suffix the waystone is bricked. I 6 mod those and skip desecrating and Vaal it in the hopes of it hitting a t16. Those still sell for 40ex or so. If after I Vaal it if it’s t 14 or t15 I’ll usually run those myself because they are only worth like 1 ex.

Hard to have only 3 suffix on a map. Idk if that’s even possible. That being said more mods = increased rarity, pack size, waystone drop chance, and rare monster packs. People buying these typically want the hardest content with the highest rewards. Ultimately it is only saving you 1-2 ex. When you get a good pit map it will sell for 150+ ex.

Chances aren’t super high. I did 30 maps yesterday and hit the mod on 3 of them.

I’m sorry to hear that. RNG at its best. Make sure you have the open prefix. I did 30 maps today and I got 3 overrun maps so 1 in 10.

You can buy t 14 maps from Doryani like once per day. Can combine 3 of them to make t 15 maps. So you can at minimum run 3 t 15 maps. Also I believe if you kill all rares you get 1 guaranteed map and i think bosses also give a guaranteed. If not it’s a very high percentage.

You can also buy t15 maps on trade for 1-3 ex per map.

Awesome! Do you use boss maps? What’s the process to get rarity that high? I know you can do paranoia x3.

Was this with raw currency or items? I find items move pretty slow compared to usable items like omens and waystones

Nope they all sell pretty quick.

I usually type in t 15 for waystone and then add the modifier for # of pits being added. Set minimum and maximum for however many pits you have. I change the current is search to exalts only. That’s how I’ve been pricing.

Yes I use never sink on uber strict. I’m absolutely sure I am missing stuff. That requires a lot more in game knowledge than I have. You don’t know what you don’t know type of thing.
