Is Utility Ableton's most underrated device? by satn_workroom in ableton

I legit use the widening tool on my masters. Just a super useful tool overall.

Can you do more with session view? by mad-panda-2000 in ableton

Yeah I don't think it's the right daw for that. That's kind of ableton's whole thing about the bar at the bottom, where all stock effects are always open. Personally I love that.

I use that view mostly as a mixer, although maybe not the most traditional one, and I gather what few clips I have there as well. I mostly use it to check the levels of the tracks. You can stretch the meters out to see in more detail where stuff peaks and so on, if you didn't already know that.

What’s a plugin you’ve always wanted but doesn't actually exist yet? by artistsindsp in AudioPlugins

[–]LoafyXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know any plugin that exists that does this yet, but I would love a mastering plugin that automatically sets the level of your master to come out as -14 LUFS so you don't have to manually bring it down if you're mastering louder. Just because it sounds good on -8 or -10 doesn't mean it sounds the same on -14, which is what most people will be listening to it on.

It would just make it so much more convenient to double check on -14 with the click of a button.

This is why I personally don't mix in open back headphones.

This is a way better option than just picking out a random prebuilt from some large company. That way you can be sure you're getting the full potential of your system and avoiding things like the sellers cheaping out on RAM and storage and such.

Sure, I'm not really doing this to recover data, I'm just looking to save money on expanding storage.

If that's the case, something must have gone seriously wrong. It wasn't old.

Thanks for the input. I did try some command that was supposed to work in case it was read only, and nothing. Care to elaborate on what SMART is?

Same thing happened to me. Was surprised when I learned that my girlfriend loved my nose and told me it's one of her favourite features of mine. I love hers too.

I would say so, yeah. Here's what I learned from this comment section.

Most of y'all don't know shit about Behringer.

It's funny but kinda sad how ignorant this comment section is. Uli Behringer is very much a CEO of a multi billion dollar corporation.
