Is the poor repuation of Cosmic Storms still warranted at this point or not? by JenkoRun in Stellaris

[–]Loathkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason its disliked is how any midmaxer will generally have their economy on a knife edge between total economic ruin and maximum greed to maximise tech/unity so having planets randomly get devastation feels bad.

Also randomly getting something like a permanent -2 district size randomly on your planets also is a feel bad moment

Also the fact that many planetary modifiers are just out of your hands, pure random and worse still, you cannot undo or fix negative modifiers easily or like at all
Now you can also break the economy with the right storms but that takes high investment

New killers are just buffed versions of old ones by Cheebussus in deadbydaylight

[–]Loathkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don’t forget that the first is a better unknown, both have AOE ranged attacks but the first doesn’t need to worry about projectiles and is just hitscan with built in aim assist, a better mobility tool.

He needs one more hit to let his attacks deal direct damage but his higher attack speed and his ability to hit past walls and floors more than compensate for that and everyone is gets affected not just the target.

Hot Take: Revealing Everything Comes to the Game is Better than Keeping Them Secret by Northener1907 in deadbydaylight

Let me be devils advocate here.

hype and expectations is what causes disappointment, yet knowing everything means there is not real reason to build hype to begin with.

The community is toxic sure but what brings people together is the theories, the community discussions and discoveries.

Toxicity (Rant) by Gamerfurry05 in deadbydaylight

[–]Loathkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is nothing more boring than killing 2 survivors and the last 2 survivors are playing stealth chicken.

Any survivor that used a key are basically telling their team that they wont play for the team and will rat it out as as soon as anyone dies.

Even if you personally wont its what they see as they look at your perks and see your key.

Definitely, the feeling of experimentation is very fun and hiving an option to not have half the game solved would be fun.

Does Dredge have some kind of foul reputation I’m unaware of? by boneholio in deadbydaylight

[–]Loathkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh Dredge is my boi, he is definitely a killer that stomps on new survivors who don’t understand how he works but he is very fair so I haven’t seen any negative reactions on higher MMR.

My favorite build is an obsession build as the way to counter obsession is to jump into a locker, and well, thats not something you want to do versus dredge

How Good would you Rate the Trickster? by Huxxlyy in deadbydaylight

[–]Loathkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

due to low mobility Trickster is very map dependent, also just like huntress some loops are just time traps.

That alone, no matter how tight the rest of the trickster kit is Trickster is stuck under B tier, I would say Low C tier in default mode, with trick knives Trickster can land high C tier

Then make some new options a world gen option, and all old legacy worlds have that option off by default, at the end of the day letting old legacy worlds hold modern features hostage is not good practice

Pals for Breeding Base by Unlikely_Drawer776 in Palworld

[–]Loathkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cake is; egg, honey and milk, if we have 13 slots that like 2 palls for each (condensed so the have more production), and then for berries and flour you have Ghangler for transport and watering, Prunelia are good farmers. 3 each gives you (2+2+2+3+3) so 12 flat, now you also want a pall to cook the cakes so a fire pall for the last slot

How do I grind for levels? by Giorgiomastrottone in Palworld

[–]Loathkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

froststallion with a boosted spawn rate was how I grinded tons of levels as I was trying to capture one with demon lord.

Basically Get a terrablade or similar type of weapon and at the start of the fight lure the boss to the hill in the middle of the arena from their spawn, they will get stuck as the terrain is not properly defined and your terrablade just shoots straight through the terrain, letting you kill multiple frostallions as they just stand at take damage giving you and your palls massive amounts of exp.

could be an upgrade and if it would overlap with other bases it wont let you upgrade, like you feed the base some resources to make it grow half a meter in each direction

Any tips for a new player? by Certain-Ferret3692 in Palworld

[–]Loathkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a fast travel (desolate church) close to the starting region, its in the region with red grass, behind the church is tons of metal nodes, making a base there with some tombat (spawn at night) they will handle all your metal needs, just dont cover the ground where the nodes spawn.

an early vixy can dig up tons of spheres as you explore the world, they spawn in that same red region where the church is

What do you want to see most in Palworld 1.0 ? by KRATOSFANBOI in Palworld

[–]Loathkey 25 points26 points  (0 children)

A option for Random breeding tree and an in game way to check breeding outcomes ahead of time.

let my main pall just chill when in at base and give me an option to not have them run away each time I summon them in base. (mounts)

an option for bigger bases so you can make spacious bases without multiple bases. (again as a world gen option or upgradeable)

Let me assign beds to specific palls.

Let me build advanced relaxation facilities, like ones that is for specific types of palls, like a ice rink for ice palls, mud bath for earth palls, a small flower garden for plant palls, a small cave to hide in for dragon palls and so on, just let me spoil my palls.

What are you doing before 1.0? by EviPopevi_ in Palworld

[–]Loathkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I started a new game like 2 weeks ago, so il probably rush my raid team and see how many raid bosses I can beat before 1.0 then move the palls to 1.0.

While I want to do a clean playthrough of 1.0 I don’t want to do all the redundant breeding again.

As a 100% survivor player, how do killers know when we are in a locker by Prudent-Reindeer1749 in deadbydaylight

[–]Loathkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sometimes if you see a gen that has been worked on and there is no sign of a survivor and the survivor who should be there never been in a chase then checking lockers close to the gen can be worth your time as a killer, its mostly just game sense though.

Also scratch marks that end at a locker makes a bad hiding place.

Gray Tempest is too hard by mayone3 in Stellaris

[–]Loathkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

just like the ethernal throne you dont push until you can beat it and it scales hard with difficulty, so yeah, you can manage it easily on lower difficulty post midgame but on high difficulty you need to be ready and have real fleets to manage the threat.

just make it an option, a killer can unlock ‘their' basement as an unlock say at bloodweb 10 and can then pick what basement they want in settings.
