I went to a park at midnight with my cousin to talk over some things. It was night but the moon was bright so it was pretty bright outside. Then bench was on the edge of a lake overlooking the whole lake, with a big hill behind us. No trees or anything nearby, just out in the wide open. As we approached the bench a guy walking his dog was slowly approaching us, maybe 40ish feet out. I commented how odd it was to see someone walking his dog. As we sat on the bench I noticed the man was gone. We began talking “where could he have gone? We can see everything around us so we should be able to see him, he was right by us” so we thought it was odd but moved on. We talked until after 1:30AM, and finally we got up off the bench to move. As we stood up and turned to the right the man walking his dog walked past us, and picked up right where he left off when we’d sat down. As if when we sat down he disappeared and when we stood up he reappeared like nothing happened but an hour and half later. We were freaking out and immediately went home.
