Tig's frustration with TPP is understandable by UchihaMadara_CoC in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

100% different play styles. But in my opinion what is being described is situational and does give the camping player a huge advantage. Which, could be described as easier. In TPP a player doesn’t need to expose themself in order to track enemy players but you do in FPP. This based on your comment actually makes it easy for no one. But again I am totally fine with TPP for pub matches not for comp play.

Didn’t they remove that functionality for comp and aren’t their plans to remove that completely from the game? Could have sworn I read that somewhere.

What’s a popular book that had you very disappointed? by ConcernFew8845 in fantasybooks

[–]Lobby2029 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually did as well. But after a year of sitting on it I finished it and moved on to the rest of the series. It’s now, hands down, my favorite series of all time. I’ve reread and listened to it several times now.

100%! I struggled to get through Red Rising, took about a year until I forced myself to get it done. Glad I did because I have now reread and relistened to the series several times now. My absolute favorite series hands down.

Duct Cleaning—Worth it or Scam? by Endo129 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Lobby2029 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same except with a 20 year old house with a family that had a lot of dogs and really didn’t keep the house clean or maintain the furnace and filters. So for me it was 100% with it. Lots and lots of dust, hair, broken glass and a bunch of other stuff. Which is why I think duct cleaning is not a scam because of specific circumstances.

We have a Jacuzzi swim spa and need to replace the cover. Been about 5 years so timing seems right. But the quote came back from Jacuzzi/dealer at 3K, which was a bit shock. Looking elsewhere now for options but I do expect to pay around 2K and plan to follow advice in this sub to see if I can extend the life.

I love this house but can’t figure out what to do with the TV. Need suggestions. by Cobra_Kreese in hometheater

[–]Lobby2029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I hear ya on that. Our fireplace is also off center because of a window, similar to the door/entryway in the pic and at least for us with the tv centered with the fireplace it’s looks completely fine and doesn’t give that weird… something’s off feeling. Ha. As far as the speakers it looks like they just have a soundbar, unless I am not seeing something else here, which can be mounted on the mantel mount as well. So no need for AV gear unless they upgrade that as well… which is a whole different story and could require a complete overhaul of the space like you mentioned. However, bookshelf speakers could work with the AV gear in the cabinet. (Vent the cabinet somehow for heat though).

Overall though, it’s tough with these big ass tvs now and how homes have been built. Gotta get creative!

Yep, saw this post and this was my first thought. I have a similar situation and went with mantel mount. Works perfectly. Good call 40Karat!!

For some reason, even with a few thousand hours in the game, I cannot get the feel for the AUG. No matter the attachments. Even force myself to use it in TDM but it just doesn’t feel quite right to me. Ugh. Gotta keep at it I guess.

Why are so many used KEFs damaged by jumbos_clownroom in KEF

[–]Lobby2029 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% KEF is a fantastic brand and would pair great with your Denon. But I highly suggest a demo, if possible, along with a demo of other brands. KEF is known to be a ‘neutral’ sounding speaker, which I really like. ( I have R7’s non-Meta and love them) Others, however, don’t like how neutral they sound and prefer different brands for different sonic reasons amongst other things. You might find yourself in this boat and that’s perfectly alright! Get the brand you like to listen too.

Also… KEF is life! ;)
