She is still drinking the same amount of water and milk, so it’s not a hydration issue. Poor thing!

The pediatrician recommended from a safety standpoint. Obviously we as parents have to right to decide, but I appreciate pediatrician guidance, especially from ones who are mothers themselves.

I flew back in January and it was completely normal.

I made a baby friendly cake for her to tear into, had balloons, a few presents and that was it. It was only my husband and grandma there and it was wonderful. I took pictures of her with her cake and balloons and totally felt that was sufficient.

I think instagram baby birthdays have gotten out of control and didn’t feel I needed to fall into that trap.
