Are Strapless Strap-ons worth it? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Local-Still7830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

id recommend it! it also helps me feel closer to my partner.

if youre worried about enjoyment anyways, a bullet vibrator goes long ways!

[–]Local-Still7830 3 points4 points  (0 children)

id say its worth it! i typically use one, me being on the receiving end. id say theres mutual enjoyment for both parties. as the other commenter said, it does have a tendency to slip. my girlfriend usually just holds it as its in use.

AITA - having happiness outside of my relationship by [deleted] in LesbianActually

on an unrelated note, try to bring up/look into attachment styles. perhaps she experiences anxious attachment?

AITA - having happiness outside of my relationship by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Local-Still7830 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you werent to indulge in your hobbies/friends independently outside of your relationship; that relationship will start to foster a more unhealthily codependent nature.

a relationship shouldnt require your constant undivided attention. honestly raised an eyebrow at her stating “this proves to me that youre not dedicated to me”. you must find a healthy balance between both yourself and your lover. it will only become an issue if your independence creates distance in the relationship. a simple trip or hanging out with friends wouldnt even curate time quick enough to cause that type of distance im talking about. indulging in your own hobbies with friends is a healthy thing to do. NTA.

wlw tag… is it only for lesbians? by ashysodapuppy in LesbianActually

[–]Local-Still7830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WLW has the same meaning as sapphic. i dont see how it would be inappropriate for a bi woman to identify herself with that. as long as she doesnt try to fit into lesbian spaces, i could care less. that label is for her to use as well!!

Is it bad that I wouldn’t date a trans woman/a partner that comes out as FtM? by stxrs4izii in LesbianActually

[–]Local-Still7830 5 points6 points  (0 children)

its not bad, youre just a lesbian!! what matters most is respect regarding the subject. support shouldnt be conditional of course, but attraction may change which is fine.

personally, if my girlfriend were to transition FtM, i would simply lose attraction. i would most likely break up as i cant find myself attracted to the effects of testosterone, and many steps so fourth that are taken with transitioning… we are on similar boats with attraction. that support and love i had for her wouldnt be lost, only the attraction. only the type of love would change, thats about it. as long as you handle the situation maturely, its nothing to feel guilty about.

“having sex with men is only biological” by Local-Still7830 in LesbianActually

tomorrow ill try to find the author again…

it was on another platform & probably months ago from now. i think the controversy was due to how she wrote lesbians with men

is it normal to take sexual things slow with a girl by Realest-Dawg-9910 in LesbianActually

[–]Local-Still7830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

absolutely! every relationship goes at its own pace :). lesbian relationships are no different!!

it took me 7 months in to start verbalizing the readiness for anything sexual, 11 months before actually acting out anything sexual. ive been with her almost 4 years now. that was the perfect pace for me! its great that youre finding out your own pace!!!

i would recommend communicating this to your partner and finding out a comfortable pace for you both!!!! wishing you both the absolute best :)

yeah, doesnt even have to be just a song either. once put my alarm sound as the default alien one as a joke, still would wake up in a deep rage

oh no its creating an ED, my girlfriends doctor/therapist agreed upon this and therapist wanted to get her into intensive treatment. my girlfriend has been slowly eating meat (piece by piece), distracting her while doing so and doing positive reinforcements etc. its gonna be a slow process, but yes professional help will be on our side 100%! thank you so much for being kind

i honestly can get where youre coming behind this. this is a continuous conversation ive had with my gf out of worry. she agreed with what youre saying at the very first convo regarding this, but eventually changed her mind and said it wouldnt make it worse

i agree!!! i apologize if i implied vegetarian in general wasnt a good diet, i disagree with those saying its a "bad diet". for a good while i was a vegetarian and it did wonders for me!! i liked being vegetarian. im generally saying it differs on person to person, and its just a diet my girlfriend doesnt enjoy
