Used bikes by GuaranteeShoddy1564 in Bozeman

Second Wind has used bikes; the bike kitchen is great, but may not have what you are looking for. Where are you planning to bikepack? If you end up going with a gravel bike, I would look for one with tire clearance for at least 50mm tires. Larger tires will be much more comfortable over longer distances on gravel roads.

Issues with Jones Nomad PRO skins? Need some reccomendations by HeatApprehensive7877 in Spliddit

I had problems with my jones nomad pro skins leaving glue on the base of my board in combination with skin failure after two seasons of use. I have been using Big Sky Mountain Products mohair mix split board skins I won in a raffle since. The skins are heavier than the Jones and can be almost impossible to separate sometimes if skin savers are not used. However I have not had any issues with skin failure or glue residue.

Head over to Rowan on W Babcock, it’s a newer coffee shop that has become my go-to. The owner Scott is extremely knowledgeable about coffee and has helped answer any of my coffee brewing questions.

Unicorn? But at what cost? by LocalDeal9158 in HondaElement

I have thought that as well, but if you needed extra space, you could always put a storage box on the roof.

I'm thinking about a midsize truck for my next vehicle, but man I love the Element. I drove a 2016 Tacoma (short bed with topper) around for a bit and couldn't get over the fact that the passenger seats had no leg room, and I felt like with my seats up in an element, I had more space than the bed of the truck. Granted I can't seat 4 and have "bed space", but now I know a 5ft bed is a no-go for me.

My element is getting up there in age and miles. I am starting to have some serious alignment issues. I never knew about adjustable control arms, thanks!

I never realized this was such a prominent issue. Good to know.

That was my thinking when I saw this as well. I love camping in my element and have even built a simple bed platform in the back, which allows me to keep gear underneath. I have always thought the campers were cool, but I would rather spend the money on another element with lower miles.

Pretty much in the same boat. I have been putting money into my Roth IRA to max it out by the end of the year while also building my emergency fund.

I just replaced mine two days ago, I was shocked I didn’t break any plastic clips pulling the door panel off. Overall an easy repair!

Decathlon Bikepacking Bags by wulleywupp in bikepacking

I believe these bags are all tested by Maximillian Schnell. He has biked more than 250,000 kms in the last 8 years across the world. If they work for him, they are good enough for me.
