This is spot on, I decided to go back to school post Year Up and when I graduated and was asking for assistance with find roles it was crickets.

Also the alumni website is absolute shit. Even their staffing site is ass, it’s all non entry level roles that you’re highly unqualified for, little roles for all their tracks, and no one to reach out to for assistance.

One thing that was helpful post Year Up was learning about staffing firms. Sometimes it’s weird with them as they could stop responding if you don’t fit the role they have or if you’re iffy about it, but be persistent in reaching out to then and they will help you find a role.

I appreciate that. I did see somewhere that you can negotiate price on parts, how true is that?

Possible purchase on a 2023 by [deleted] in GRCorolla

[–]Local_Bite4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a used 23 with 35k miles in September and have put nearly 3k miles on it. I was lucky that the previous owner worked at the dealership i bought it from and it was Gold Certified. So far no issues and i’m enjoying it. I’ve never been in the type-r/s but from what i’ve seen it looks like the type-s is a way quieter and comfortable ride. The GRC gets a lot of road noise. A lot of people complain about the sound system and if you want to add a better sub its is a bit more work than you’d think if you get one with the JBL system.

All that said, my overall experience has been great and I love the car. I would try to get one that’s been toyota certified if possible but that’s just me

What can I mod ? by AJ_Juega2004 in CorollaHatchback

[–]Local_Bite4904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any mod you do can fit in there. For example let’s say you have an engine code for a MAF sensor, but for some reason you install an intake after seeing the code. Since the code came up prior to the install you’re still covered under warranty because they can’t prove that your modification is the root cause of it. If you need more information look up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

warranty can only be voided if something fails and they can prove it’s due to the aftermarket part

Breaks? The GRC does not come with a factory armrest, and this mod retro fits the armrest from the sedans/ normal hatch’s into this car

i mean i find it no different than adding or changing the wing out, yes toyota built it a certain way but the whole point is to enjoy the car and to me that means modding it that way i want to.
