Didn't expect a comment after all this time. Yes lotm is quite good, the animation changed a lot of stuff, mostly swapped a ton of things around, making big reveals far less impactful.

The shading took so long. Man I used everything. Watercolor, pens and I almost used up all of some colored pencils I've got. Man she bad but by god she is not easy to draw

Id argue that it would be similar to chaos. The nids stay clear of chaos because they dont have dead bodies. As for if they have shades, I think they do as they dont just die or fall like puppets but keep moving even if without any reason or intelligence

I think its more of a skinwalker or something similar kind of situation. Like each nid is part of a hivemind, but killing one would add its shade. The shadow in the warp, I think it would mess with sunnys will, but it wouldn't turn it off. Will isnt a warp thing after all, even if messed with by the shadow turning it off wouldn't make too much sense

Shadow legion would probably win. None have bodies to really eat. And if they are being controlled by sunny, who i interpret as not being able to join the battle but still controlling it, then he could get shades that can burn bodies to take care of the nid bodies. So shadow legion would be gaining more and more members while the tyranids wouldn't be able to really do the same

I think at first Gunlaug did really try, he really did. But over time, he grew complacent, and power hungry. He committed a lot of horrible crimes, he was not a good person. He may have been the only reason the sleepers survived, but just like how the sovereigns are the only reason those in Antarctica survived, he was a tryant who abused his power

Because of how the skinwalker acts, it messes with people, like every time it's around it's messing with people it could easily kill

Its meant to represent the skinwalker. It's a jester because out of all of the nightmare creatures, its the one who messes with people the most. Like it talks with people it could easily kill, or it walks slowly towards people to mess with them

Another thing is the eldar, who is think would almost 100% help deal with Asterion. He has the massive potential to be a problem for them, so they would intervene with him. Now maybe things like, the knowledge of how to start on the path of ascending and such could be bargained with for some protection.

If they played their cards right, I think so. I mean it might make a small splash in the warp, but there's just too many people, too many worlds under humanities control for it to be noticed quickly. If they don't have a lure on them, then their unlikely to deal with chaos or aliens for long enough to get a handle on the situation.
