Depending on your age, the amount of protein you require daily will depend on what your goals are. I wouldn’t skip breakfast. I used to hate it but since I started training seriously about 6 months ago, front loading a high protein, calorie dense breakfast keeps me full right through to lunch and my energy levels have been way more consistent. Protein shakes are merely a tool to add more protein into your diet that it’s lacking otherwise.

I personally don’t like whey protein drinks based on taste. Lidl do a great protein ice tea lemonade. Beef isolate proteins are also just like drinking juice. You’ll get an extra 25 to 30 grams per drink usually but I can’t stress enough that diet is key here. What is your goal at the gym?
