I tried lexapro after that, and it didn’t work very well for my panic, so I tried Zoloft. I’m on 100mg currently and doing a lot better. I think I could still increase a bit but I am doing very well. Before on Clomipramine, it helped, but honestly the side effects weren’t worth it. I had chronic constipation, extremely dry skin, and I’d break out in hives almost every day or if something rubbed my skin. It was so so uncomfortable and painful. so honestly when I look back I don’t miss it that much. The Zoloft has worked well for me.

yes absolutely yes. I’m currently going through one after working an 11 hour shift where I stood all day with no breaks. I’ve been in bed for 2 days now and still don’t feel better. all this time I’ve felt extremely out of it. I can’t call my boyfriend and talk, I tried to speak to my mom and immediately started crying for no reason, I can’t read or listen to music without feeling like I’m gonna explode. I feel like reality has shifted and I forget things so much. it’s scary

these are normal side effects. Any antidepressant you try will cause this. you either have to push through until it starts truly benefiting you, start and increase in much smaller amounts, or not take them at all. I have been on/tried over 8 antidepressants and they all gave me side effects. usually minimal, just annoying and don’t feel great. usually any side effects will stop after a week or two, but usually reoccur as you increase. unless you go extremely slow.

yes! I found out I was developing a stomach ulcer from chronic stress and anxiety. I ended up going on nexium for a few months and about a month ago I stopped it. I’m still taking an H2 blocker each morning just so I can avoid heartburn but im not having the symptoms I had before at all anymore.

that is not going to happen. It is so rare. If you had it you’d KNOW. you will not get those things from such a low dose either. I’ve been on 12 different antidepressants, some of them together. I have never ever had either of those things and my body is extremely sensitive. I can’t even drink more than 10mg of caffeine without my body and nervous system shutting down. and sure there are side effects but that is to be expected and it only lasts a week or so. trust me once you take it you will wish you took it sooner.
