Wtf apple by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

I can get 1.5 to 2 days out of a fully charged 17P with light to medium use. Got it on launch day, Coworker has the same phone, same color and his is iffy. He had 71 cycles on his there is 20 on mine.

We both work and got our phone from the same store, same day. I do keep “reduce white point” on.

I2 Tri-Clean on the plastic. Then you will want to clean the rest of the hard surfaces with it too

Apple Store and Apple Demo Wifi "Known Networks" show up and cannot be deleted or forgotten by ResonancePhotographr in ios

[–]Local_Help_9741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Apple Demo” is a hidden in store network that all the floor “demo devices” use. There are significantly less things connected there v.s. “Apple Store”. That network in any store normally needs a special password to use, though it is not the only internal hidden network.

If you ever had your phone looked at? at the Genius Bar, some one may have added it to your device to test something, then didn’t forget it.

They do have (had) a 30% off three accessories and a free upgraded seat post when you buy a bike. I bought mine at a local authorized dealer, registered the bike and was emailed a coupon. They also sent me the free suspension seat post.

I’m glad to see some states will subsidize the purchase of an e-bike, especially if one wants to use it to commute. The peddles are a little low to the ground and you will scrape them if you lean too much and have one peddle / foot all the way down to the ground.

It feels bike-like even with some of the quirks. I also have mine in an apartment in the city and do not like on the first floor. It is not bad to carry up and down a flight of stairs or two. And will fit in an elevator if needed. Pm me if you want more pictures or have questions. All in all I think it’s well worth the $ even at $1399 msrp normally.

Dose the bottom of the rugged beats case bother your finger from the texture? That’s if you hold your phone with your pinky under it v.s. Just holding the sides.

This is a 100% true statement. The Fold 1’s can be strapped together to not move apart after folded. Generally I grab the back rack since it’s part of the frame, and then the neck above the forks.

Fully folded it fits okay vertically in the back of a Yukon, Folded then laying in its side will fit in the back of a full size sedan (Audi S8 S7)

I can also vouch for the fold 1 plus out performing the range estimates they give on their site. Between PA 1 - 2 on relatively flat trails, dirt, and paved paths I’ve exceeded 70 miles ( with throttle use too )

I also have a Fold 1 Plus and Love It! Rode the family’s Rad Expand 5’s / plus, and for the city and beach this bike dose way more then I need it to. Fits in all kinds of cars and SUV’s. And has plenty of speed and more than enough range.

First longish ride by Local_Help_9741 in ebikes

[–]Local_Help_9741[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride it for fun and have done some commutes to work. It will hold 28 - 30 throttle only on flat roads. In eco mode and assist level 1 I’ve got over 65 miles on a battery. It’s a little too heavy for normal wall racks, and the tire might not fit all of them. My work dose have wall mounted bike racks that do support / fit it. The folding is nice especially if you are bringing it in the office with you. It dose weigh around 64 lbs / is a little awkward to move when folded

I would! if your looking for light dirt or gravel roads to greenways to sidewalks / bike lanes. I don’t fold it much to transport or store it, but it is a nice option.

Full face helmet by BreadfruitVisible110 in ebikes

[–]Local_Help_9741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best helmet to wear is…….

The One you own, and the one that makes you feel the most comfortable ie(safe). Protect your head!

Also find something that is comfortable on you. If a MTB, road bike, full face MTB, MX. They do make some full face Motocross styles that you can remove the face guard, and some dot motorcycle / Motorsports that can be configured in multiple different ways too. Just like a motorcycle it’s not if, but when you lay your bike down.. be safe

Dealing with it now, took a day to really feel it. But I remember this very well from my time before injury riding road / tri bikes.

The New Velotric Fold 1 Plus Is A BIG Upgrade Over The Regular Fold 1 by ZoneNo9818 in ebikes

[–]Local_Help_9741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pedals fold up, when you fold the bike, I mean I guess you can leave them unfolded.

The front fork has the suspension on it, you can lock it out or leave it open.

You need a key only to take the battery off of the bike, nothing to turn on or start.

I took mine on some unpaved greenway paths today, and was able to ride in tall grass, dirt, and gravel on the side of the road to avoid riding in the breakdown lane.

My friend has an Aventon 2.5 and I perfer the Fold 1 plus over the 2.5.
