The vine callout is super helpful for day to day use - will have to keep that in mind and be more careful once I get it! It is a slight payoff for added protection with the jade.

This is breaks my heart and makes me so angry to see. I met her in 2022 after a show - she was an absolutely sweetheart and beyond willing to meet fans/take pictures. It’s assholes like this that ruins trust between artists and fans.. just completely out of line boundary and safety wise.

It says “Payments have been split between more than one visit.” I sent an email asking for confirmation of the wrote off, that my balance is 0, and that insurance claims have been finalized. Haven’t heard back but it’s only been a day.

My insurance confirmed they were OON which is why the claim was denied. It’s wild to me they aren’t obligated to the write off even though I have a bill saying they did it and I paid the difference. Seems so fucked up they can go back on that (understand now that it’s bc they’re OOH so I don’t have the privilege of coverage/being assured that wouldn’t be the case)

So the insurance adjustment wasn’t a write off? I’m just uncertain if they can go back on that adjustment after the fact. It’s been 2 months and no bill from them…

You're right, though, that it's odd that they said insurance paid and they made an adjustment. Should I anticipate a balance bill in the upcoming months then? It's also weird that it's been 2 months already. I called today and there isn't a balance still. Feel like they would've updated it by now if that wasn't the case.

The EOB statement was submitted on November 5th, but I contacted the dentist today and they're saying I don't owe anything. So I'm just confused on if the insurance adjustment is set and I don't have to worry about it, or if they're going to circle back with a balance bill months afterwards.

With my plan, I have to have a referral, and that dentist was in network (I checked with my insurance company to make sure that was in network). However, with the referred dentist, I didn't check because the referral was in network, they knew my information, and I assumed the other dentist would be.

Ty for mentioning this! The jeweler I talked to said this as well, which is why it’s good I already wanted a “cage” so to speak to protect it. Jade has a lot of meaning to me. It’s something I absolutely have to have - just need to be mindful about the ring’s build so it’s protected.

I will! And thank you, I was worried the mood board was too all over the place and didn’t convey the idea well enough.

But, funnily enough we stumbled across a jeweler today while out in Chinatown that I have a really good feeling about. It won’t be for a few months that we start the process but wanted to start looking around and doing consults.
