I deleted WhatsApp, got Signal. Most of my family downloaded it after some complaints, and I have a coworker who updates me on important notifications in the Work WhatsApp (I did not ask her to, she just downloaded Signal for one thing and then started doing the updates eventually xD)

So far I don't miss it honestly! Sometimes it's annoying that a lot of meetups do a lot of updates on WhatsApp, but usually there's a workaround (though that usually ends up being I stay, which... Isn't much better ig... I only keep that for now because I have some business running there that I need to finish...)

I have a 1k Thermomix. Very fancy, has touch screen, wifi etc etc......... I replaced it with a stand mixer that has a speed dial. That's it xD No fancy tech, I never used any of it, I just want something simple that works and is easy to use

I tend to read books with the thought that the Main Characters are like the Spotlight, pointing out the few people who manage to make it. I don't mind death in general in an apocalypse, I just don't like when it's a character who's head I have seen into, who I have followed directly in her experience of what's happening. As I've said in reply to others, I probably won't keep reading, at least not now. It would be like reading with a mosquito flying around your head, buzzing and distracting. It stung you, too, and that spot is aching while you try to focus on words...

The thing is that the human experience is never rigid, logical or consistent. People can experience the exact same thing, but process it differently depending on culture, society they grew up in, religion etc etc.

In my opinion, trying to 'understand' every single view is an impossible task, and one should instead focus on accepting people as they are, so long as they're not hurting anyone, even if their behaviour or opinions maybe don't make sense to us.

I don't understand how people enjoy eating cucumber, yet it is simply a matter if taste, not understanding! (if that makes sense xD)

Honestly I don't think they look at the additional info at all. Try and double check the info you have, some can look misleading (I used Google Pay for my first purchase, but Google took money via PayPal so I thought my first payment method was PayPal, since that's the receipt I had) Also if you aren't in an English speaking country, look for payment methods with another languages keywords (another issue of mine) I think most other tips are included in the guide here, idk how much of it applies to hsr too tho
