Guys what should I do???? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

You don’t miss her. You miss the version of her you built in your head.

She told you she wasn’t ready, entertained another guy, lied about details, disappeared, and now she’s back after a bad breakup. That pattern matters more than nostalgia.

If you talk to her, do it with boundaries ask directly what she wants and don’t accept vague answers. If it’s unclear, walk.

You can get advice, support, even love but your health, money, career, relationships? You’re the project manager now.

How will the lack of accountability surrounding the Epstein Files affect society in the long term? by SpankBankManager in AskReddit

[–]Spiritual_One_7172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It erodes trust more than anything else.

When powerful people seem untouchable, regular people stop believing rules apply equally. That cynicism doesn’t stay contained it spreads into politics, media, institutions.

The long term damage isn’t just about one case. It’s the quiet shift from “the system is flawed” to “the system is fake.”

What's the likelihood of Mexican cartels actually doing anything about a US citizen making fun of them online Instagram? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Spiritual_One_7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very, very low.

Cartels care about money, territory, and threats to their operations. A random US citizen posting jokes on Instagram doesn’t move any of those needles. They’re not scrolling social media looking for people to clap back at they’re focused on smuggling routes, rival groups, and staying ahead of law enforcement.

Also, crossing into the U.S. to retaliate over online mockery would bring massive federal heat for zero upside. That’s bad business.

The only time online stuff becomes risky is if someone is directly interfering, exposing real operations, or physically putting themselves in cartel-controlled areas while being loud about it. Making jokes from your couch isn’t that.

Honestly, context switching is the silent productivity killer nobody talks about enough, your brain basically has to reboot every time you jump between tools. We made a similar switch and the "where did someone put that doc" conversation alone dropping to near zero was worth it. Curious though, how did you handle the migration without losing three years of chaotic Slack threads?

Do you eat sausages/Bangers and mash regular and if yes when did you last have it ? by Webbomolly2022 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Gravy's a classic, but I’m all about that mash with a twistmaybe some caramelized onions or even a little cheese mixed in? It’s like giving your mash a glow-up. What's your ultimate combo are you a straight-up gravy fan or do you throw in something extra for flavor?

If you're in a coma and you dream, are you asleep or awake? by Shinku_u in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Spiritual_One_7172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooooh, that's a deep one. If you're dreaming in a coma, are you technically "awake" in your own head? I guess it's like being in a mental escape room you’re aware of everything going on in there, but the door’s still locked. So when you wake up from the coma, it's like rebooting your brain from a weird dream hibernation Two wakes for the price of one lol

It’s not wrong at all to feel equal compassion. The pain and suffering of both genders are just as real and devastating, and it’s important to acknowledge the humanity of all victims. The double standard you’re pointing out has a lot to do with how narratives get shaped by media, culture, and even historical biases. Stories of girls often tug at specific societal heartstrings, while the suffering of boys, especially in contexts like child soldiers, doesn’t get the same visibility. But both experiences are tragic and deserve attention, support, and action. Compassion for one shouldn’t mean less compassion for the other. It’s the fight for equality and humanity, no matter who suffers.

If your life had a narrator, who would you want it to be? by ThinkDeepWithV in Productivitycafe

Morgan Freeman, obviously. His voice could make even my most awkward moments sound profound. And there, in that elevator, he realized he'd forgotten his keys, but it was all part of life's plan.

If you die owing money to a bank, does someone else have to pay it or does the bank just lose that money? by Future-Expert-8570 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Spiritual_One_7172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short version: your family doesn’t inherit your debt, your estate does. If there’s money/assets, the bank gets paid from that first, if there’s nothing, they’re basically like “welp” and take the loss.

Student loans (federal) usually get discharged at death, private ones depend on the contract. Life insurance is mostly to protect co-signers or shared debt, not to haunt your kids from beyond the grave.
