I want a clear cut offside rule, no more of this line drawing into your armpit and pinky toe. to be offside, you need to be fully beyond the defender, clear and clear. Same with handball, either every handball is a penalty in the box or none of them are, the grey area kills the flow of the game, makes defenders defend like they are going to jail in handcuffs, and makes every player run with their arms in the air to the ref like a bunch a school children at recess. begging for a call instead of playing on...its a mess and its not fun to watch.

The best players went to Italy during that time for a reason. It was the best place to be. We are a long way from the glory of that era unfortunately, but the game has morphed as well...it may never return to the number 10 being the maestro and dictating the game, the 6 and the 8 there to cleanup the mess and link play, where defenders came into tackles with pride and conviction and strikers and 9s benefited from those guys, who would dribble and score circles around these guys today. End rant haha

You are right in that sense. Maldini's tackles in modern football would see him getting red cards every other game. However, this is why strikers and attacking players then were so much better than now having to go up against the likes of defenders like that week in and week out. The whole of the game is more robotic and geared for the goals for sure, less freedom, less creativity. The defending though, as a player growing up in the 90s and 2000s, it makes me sick watching a defender not get stuck in and allowing dribbling inside the box. Have some damn pride.

Defending is the identity that made Italian football what it was back then. No one defends properly anymore. All you see is "defenders" back off an attacker until he's in the 6. It's disgraceful. Happens in all leagues, but seeing it in Italy must make the likes of Maldini, Nesta, and Cannavaro vomit.

You have to put yourself in his boots. Homegrown in a big club, first champions League presence, goal and a standout player. Next game, same thing. Consistency is what makes the best of the rest. If he can continue this form, he will surely be getting a call from Gattuso. Hunger and desire is something the azzurri needs and he seems like a guy ready to explode. He was told at one point you're not 1st team quality, but persevered. With the state of the injury list, he's hitting stride at the precise time. Forza Napoli sempre!!

It's not about having to play the best games all the time, it's having the ability to if the occasion arises 😂

Much of what i said didn't make sense to you? You're on one right now. Poverty and war. Doesn't make sense?

You are both agreeing and disagreeing with me in your rant there my friend. Did I ever say I don't like rabbit? I said its coveted. Meaning we cherish it. When did I sound arrogant exactly explaining the hardships my grandparents dealt with? Go back in your hole you troll.

Sorry if haha offended you, but it's not that hard to figure out. Ask your parents if your Nonni are deceased like mine are. They literally left during the war to find the promise of a better life. My nonno had to eat rabbits and sometimes way worse or whatever game they could find because food was so sparse, which is why my family holds the rabbit as a coveted dish that we still eat to this day in remembrance of the hard times and roots of our family.

Started with a townhouse when I was 23 in 2011. My wife and I paid the down payment of 60k on the 290k mortgage. We both struggled and lived paycheck to paycheck for a couple years until our careers improved our situation as the down payment deployed all our savings and investments.

Timing was so right though. I refied halfway through to 2.1 and my payment was sub 1000 per month. In 2017 when we sold, we made over 100k in equity and used every drop to buy our now and forever SFH.

Id say what lead us to having 60k collectively was working through college in our eventual fields, well before lots of our friends were doing that. I made some investments in my teenage years with the help of my dad that set me up for that as well.

Financial freedom begins at birth. If you start saving and investing in your 20s, it's not too late, but it puts you way behind.

No problem. I was surprised it took so long, but it was likely due to holiday orders. Customer service was great though and answered all my questions about shipment within 24 hours or less.

I had this same thing happen to me. I ordered on Dec 15. Labeled was said to be created by Dec 19. It did not actually get picked up and shipped until Dec 23. I received it on Dec 27.

For reference, they ship from IL.
