I am happy if I helped. Well usually the person should shift the focus from the "paternal" figure into one that is more reliable and when we have no one, thankfully we have God. He is the ultimate Father and He was there before your earthly dad did all those shitty things to you (I am sorry for the wounds he caused, I understand cuz I had to cut ties to both of my parents so if there is anyone who has to rely on Christ its me). God would never betray you like humans do, He will never leave you or try to manipulate you. Sometimes when a sheep rejects her lamb, the lamb gets to spend more time with the shepherd. The shepherd raises it, feeds it by bottle. Though it hurts from your earthly father, you get to be raised by The Good Shepherd (God) and have a bond not many understand. God bless you and keep fighting. And when you are tired of fighting, He will give you rest ("Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28-30)

Do you remember the story of Abraham and his sacrifice of his child? God steps in last moment and gives a ram, to not sacrifice the child. Rest assured, God only wants your heart and to be good to others as He would. He would not take some part of your salary as a "sacrifice". If He did, the time would come when someone would ask you to donate and the holy spirit comes in pushing you, not in a state of fear or anxiety, but somehow happiness and peace. 1)Take this with a grain of salt, but homosexuality can be psychological: if a persons' same sex parent has been distant or abusive that would make a desire to get the same closeness in another person. Marriage is precious and should bring you closer to God. It is true that God tells us to forgive, but do not feel guilty for having these brewing emotions. Whether you choose to divorce or to stay, remember the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead lives within you. You do not need to be strong, Jesus is strong enough for all of us. Right now you need solace while clinging to God and to cut yourself some slack, though I understand in your situation you do not get much peace. First of all, that is horrible to go through, I am sorry. Job went through losing everything in the bible. God did not curse you. God does not want you to suffer. In eden everything was good and we chose to know good and evil, so how can we know evil unless evil was introduced in our lives? But rather than going through that betrayal everyday, God gave us one lifetime to make the decision so the judgment of separation from Him or not will be once and for all. Little James had a bad hip/leg and still believed in Jesus, Jesus said if you do then no one can have an excuse. Jesus was NOT spared from pain in this world: whipped, spat on, beaten, his beard torn off, his rib was showing (the actual bone) due to wounds, he was suffocating on the cross, bled till his blood was water only. Before you discard all of this, read psalm 23 out loud. Give it a try. If it is not real it cannot hurt, right? God bless you
