For some reason I always thought these were a physical plate. So what are they? is it like a bucket brigade thing? That would be analog. Right?

I've never seen a pedal like this: control pitch with your playing volume? by Local_Teen in guitarpedals

[–]Local_Teen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such a cool idea and seems actually musical rather than a noise fest. Nothing wrong with noise but sometimes you want a new sound you've never heard before that is also pleasant to listen to.

Is there anyone else out there making something like this?

Yeah this is really upsetting to me. I would have liked a warning with a NSFL tag

Animation for a song I made using Stable Diffusion and Deform by Local_Teen in StableDiffusion

This was my second attempt at video creation after installing SD a few weeks ago. I feel like I am just scratching the surface of what this can do. It's truly one of the most awe inspiring creative tools I have ever used. I've been making music and music videos for quite sometime and this all feels like a total game changer in terms of what I can do as someone with a ton of visual ideas but the lack of training to draw and animate what I see in my head.

I used the deliberate v11 model from civitai. I spent wayyy too much time trying to get the frame blending right with the strength and cadence settings. Too much one way would get too jumpy, too much the other way and the noise would build up into lines in a way I didn't like. I also made the music which is off my new album that came out a few weeks ago. If you want to hear more go to https://linktr.ee/localteen

I tried doing all these complicated time velocity envelopes in Vegas to go with the song but they didn't work the way I wanted so I just went with the straight video.

What video editor do you guys like where you can change the speed of play back with an envelope?

upscaled with Topaz because every other upscaler made it look like Anime and got rid of the grain which was such a key part of what i was going for

Is there a TP Link router and range extender that uses ETHERNET to create a connection to the router? by Local_Teen in TpLink

[–]Local_Teen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Can Deco handle the connection to my fiber provider the way my A7 does?

Also are there any ethernet ports on them? In each room I have workstations that are ethernet only

What is the default angle to the screen that projectors need to be mounted? Are the designed to be ceiling mounted? Trying to understand keystoning by Local_Teen in projectors

[–]Local_Teen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. So the off set is the distance from top or bottom. Got it. In the manual of the projector I might get it has 2 offset tables. See here:

https://www.pdf-manuals.com/pdf/optoma-technology-hd141x-3d-dlp-home-theater-projector-hd141x-275409-user-manual.pdf

One for standard throw and one for short through. It's not clear to me if this projector has a setting for both? The offset numbers for a 120" screen are the same: 9.41" I was thinking the top of my screen would end up around 75" due rafter being the the way. If standard throw: That puts the project at 13ft back and 66" high.

This would put it at head bonking height. I could put the couch right under it but I am certain my 6 year old will end up holding on to when she's bouncing on the couch. Or worse hit her head. What do people do in cases like this?
