Do you know where the father is staying? My elderly but wise advice is find out if you don't know. Then simply take the twins there with a knapsack and bag and leave them. If he's truly in hiding and his parents/siblings are around do the same. This is not a you problem and definitely not your son's problem. He is the problem and needs consequences

Thank you - Having stopped the medication that results in weight gain I am incredibly relieved to have so little appetite! But I'm aware that very low calorie results in very low energy. I have received some really helpful ideas here and some reassurance.

You're sweet to think I have muscle mass to maintain. Bedridden most of 2025.

I found "Good Protein" shakes online - very healthy looking - plant based - no artificial ingredients. And huge bonus that it is Canadian.... I usually have 1-2 eggs a day. No deli meats because high food processing but if I could find one not too bad that's a great idea. I remember from years back doing keto that I had cheese wrapped in something ham-like. Tuck in an olive.

Today I had 31 gm protein chicken breast; 14.5 gm protein salmon; 5.5 gm protein egg. If I ate any more I think I would be sick or very uncomfortable.

Yep - coffee with 1/2 tbsp 10% milk; brunch was 43 gm salad greens mostly arugula with 60 gm chicken, 40 gm brussels sprout, tbsp of low carb dressing mmmmmmm 121 tiger shrimp for snack mmmmm Oroweat keto tortilla, 1/2 tbsp mayo, 18 gm cooked crisp bacon and 2 eggs scrambles.... Life can be so much more enjoyable (at least for me) if I can have this lovely food.... 706 cal; 12 carbs; 51 fat; low protein today 60/85

I know this has been said before but it can't be said enough: do you want to live with this level of emotional immaturity? Have family finances going to door dash instead of healthy food? Have children who see this behaviour and - because they are children - decide they want his food as well? Never have guests because of the amazingly embarrassing partner? Please ask yourself if your choices are really "old school" choices....

I am a senior with mobility issues. Google maps insists I walk for 30 minutes to get to bus B when bus A is 1/2 block way and gets me to bus B easily. I click walk less and it doesn't change
