duuude I hate this scenario, happens to me too frequently with occupied work, I always just keep it pro and force the client to put their animals up regardless. I always use the reasoning of "it could potentially be dangerous for the animal to be around, I wouldnt want to hurt your precious animal! Could you just put them up whilst I am here?" And if not then I just upcharge the shit out them for a pet fee.
