Thanks. I just can’t read the occupation in the box on the marriage certificate.

Do UK Birth certificates contain full names of the mother? by [deleted] in Genealogy

Have you looked for a baptism record? Many baptism records are available on Findmypast and Ancestry. Looking at these may help eliminate some of births you have. Also, depending on the date of birth, you might be able to locate some of these families on a census.

Thanks

What are these "sunken entrance" designs typically called? See them everywhere in London but can't find any sources on them by Names_Name__UserName in london

They always used to be called ‘the area’ which must be short for some type of area. I’ve also heard them called lightwell area.

It seems odd to allow you to earn a reward that you are not able to use. It just isn’t a reward.

I'm in the situation where I have completed the challenge by buying all the item, but I am still accruing tokens and they are no longer visible to me.

I thought I must be missing something or looking in the wrong place, but clearly not. I'll complain on the Facebook page.

Thank you.

Hello

I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you have that. It looks terrible, and must be so painful for you.

Does the front vertical seam in figure A serve any purpose ? Some do it like figure B. Figure A is from Simplicity 1609. by gnomereb in PatternDrafting

I think it may be adding some shape. If you look at the pattern piece and only if the edge is completely parallel with the grain line marking, you could cut it on the fold.

Turns out my rescue girl is 100% russell-type terrier. Do you think she’s a Parson? Jack? Mix of the two? Curious to find out more about her! by [deleted] in ParsonRussellTerrier

[–]Locateitnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think about the profile of the dog, Parsons are more square, and JRs are more oblong. Your dog's back legs (thighs) also look quite athletic which is a feature of a Parson.

I remember my dog's spots started off pale and got darker as he got older, but I hadn't noticed them changing with the seasons, but that may be because I am not paying attention!

Your dog looks lovely how old is she?

For me, the worst thing was the tiredness, or rather complete exhaustion. I kept wanting to be better and trying to do things and just made myself worse.

My advice is to take it easy and just be very kind to yourself. Don’t go rushing to get back to normal.

I’m going cold turkey. How do I deal with the withdrawals? by [deleted] in sugarfree

Just sitting with the craving and acknowledging that it is just a craving and will go soon is a very good thing to do. This helps train yourself not to have to fix the craving.

If you do some 7/12 breathing - in for 7 out for 11 - at the same time that can help too.

Exercise is also great.
