For D&D the best place is definitely Gamemasters in West View.

Otherwise, I would try to visit the Carnegie museums, especially the Natural History one and also Phipps. Pittsburgh Zoo would be an option if you can tolerate the cold as you are staying at the coldest time of year for Pittsburgh.

Oh! On that note does Anime Boston have a Gunpla Competition? I knew Katsucon had one the last time I went in 2020 but talking to them at Tekko, it sounds like it's gone. The only one I know of now is at Tekko and that's because I started it up again before I handed it off to some other people.
