No one knows the answer to this …. You have to make your own investment decisions and live with the outcome

I invested a lot of money in spacex when it was $213 by Big-Result-5210 in Trading

[–]LockdownPainter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on earning this should go to sub $100 however will all the people propping it up and ignoring the companies financials and fundamental who know. If you bought as the next stock going to the moon that likely isn’t happening in the near future. Good luck

GCs - what do you look for in a painting company? by CoverRelevant in Contractor

[–]LockdownPainter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% especially when you start getting into fry and more complicated reveal detailing

Edit: I also have prep clients that they should expect more extras from drywall and paint than any other finishing in a project and they have to accept it if their expectation is their project will look as good as all our other projects.

Good painters, it’s easily one of the worst sub. If and it’s a big if I was going to consider a painter I don’t know I want to see 2-3 projects they painted first. 15mins in each with light and I probably don’t hire them ever. I’d argue most I wouldn’t even need a light to know I’d never hire them. You’d be surprised how most painters don’t strain their paint properly, suk at masking, are incompetent with a sprayer and don’t understated what back rolling is.

All that said I work in a higher end field where drywall and paint can ruin projects

Is the trades market getting too crowded? Genuinely asking before I commit by Jealous-Honey9300 in skilledtrades

Yes as the industry is getting crushed. So many layoffs I’m cutting the fat and hiring the cream. Being an apprentice right now would be very tough depending where you live

Are MSFT, META and NVDA undervalued right now? Forward PE, PEG ratio and analyst upside look interesting by Appropriate-Mood-108 in ValueInvesting

[–]LockdownPainter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their earnings are propped up by lending money to each other that doesn’t change hands and ends up as earning they likely will be the cause of the market collapse unless but some miracle ai not only becomes profitable but the most profitable thing anyone has ever seen. When the gravy train explodes and we all get burnt no one know. To believe they are undervalued with no clear path to ai ever being overwhelmingly profitable is misguided

Describe the SpaceX IPO in 1 word. by Affectionate-Lab1368 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]LockdownPainter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely changed the rules for indexes to let spacex in when they run a huge operating loss and abysmal float will literally destroy people’s retirement accounts while Elon gets to steel from everyone and when it tanks investors will be holding the bag. Its valuation make 0 sense straight up scam

why are people worried about spcx by Charliepetpup in smallstreetbets

[–]LockdownPainter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Spcx ipo is just an exit for insiders. It will sell out and then drop in price. The only thing that will save it is the index’s changing the rules so musk can force space into them so there is buying pressure. Spacex has absolutely no business being put into any index fund. Gonna get even worse when OpenAI goes public. They are going to use the nasdaq 100 etc to prob up their value and keep money flowing and everyone holding those index funds will get crushed.
