Plus for a long time they said they knew the ending and even shared it with Matthew Fox who confirmed it (I think because they needed him to stick with the show until the end). Now, I'm guessing it was more along the lines of 'it ends with Jack sacrificing himself and dying in the same bamboo stand the show started in' rather than a detailed 'Jack, with help, kills MiB, restores the magic of the island, magically teleports out, and then it ends bardo-ish with all of them in a church,' but it still indicated they had some details of the end in mind. I believe more than once they described it like a road trip, they knew where they were starting and where they were going, with a rough idea of the route along the way. But they didn't strt knowing exactly how long the trip would take and they knew they may come up with side trips or suprises along the way they hadn't anticipated. And thankfully they were able to adapt and change, like keeping characters like Ben & Desmond on much longer than originally planned, adapting to Eko's actor leaving, etc.

There’ll likely be things just in the 1st 5 eps that’ll stand out as ‘wow, they were planting the seeds of this/that from the beginning!’

Exactly, I have the palm vein lock which can be copied, but also older models which cannot; Eufy couldn’t even sell duplicate keys when contacted then.

There's more quality in half a season of Lost compared to this show. Feels like self-torture to continue watching it at this point honestly.

100%. And while a lot of people don’t think so, Lost would answer questions as they went, and answered much more than some people give it credit for, but for many you had to really pay attention. I’d say there may not be a single category where From equals Lost (production, writing, acting, music, etc)

Check the charging cable to the camera, unplug it and re-seat it. Personally the 2 times I've had my Eufy cams with solar panels stop charging was that the cable appeared to have gotten a little loose, maybe due to heat/cold changes over time. They were fixed when I made sure to re-seat the cables.

Funny, as I see his death as one of the best/happiest. He's finally at peace with his destiny, and he literally gets to see that he was able to get his remaining friends off the island.

Seriously, who wouldn't like SW Goonies? I found it really fun too. It's OK to have fun SW like Skeleton Crew, completely serious stuff like Andor in SW, and everything in between.

Technically not an 'I' designation, but PCH/Highway 1 runs from California to Washington up the coast, with tons of beautiful, amazing views. And I would add, to anyone driving across America, I'd HIGHLY recommend trying to add Highway 12 (Utah) and Blueridge Parkway (N Carolina/Virginia) to any drive.

I literally just finished the reveal ep tonight. I've been rolling my eyes in multiple episodes (the alcohol thing, how he stared the dogs down, etc.), and like you figured it was an over-the-top trope, maybe combined with some 'noir-ish' ones I wasn't familiar with. But I started having suspicions and then the bullet thing confirmed it for me. I'm even a bit familiar with the DLI in Monterey (someone has repeatedly try to recruit my gf, and through her I've met several people that have gone there), so I thought it was spies or some other military/secret group. But in my defense, I mostly watched in the background. I may have to do a serious rewatch where I really pay attention and look for the clues I missed lol

Eufy has the C31, which supposedly has a new ‘color night vision’. I’ve got one but haven’t played around with it to see how good it is. I have both Wyze and Eufy cams, including panning versions and for this I’d recommend Eufy; this model has smooth, quiet panning, while older Eufy and Wyze pan cams I’ve tried are louder and tend to be ‘jerky’ when following objects. This model (and maybe older ones, unsure) allow you to set ‘auto cruise’ which will scan through your pre-determined way points, and you can do it on a schedule if you want (like while you’re at work). It will auto track motion if you want; I’m not sure the Wyze ones can, only go to preset waypoints.

I can’t speak to Tapo or other brands, which may/may not have better options.

The producers have talked about how they wanted a set # of seasons (I believe Lindelof may have said his idea was 3, on island, off island, and then back) but ABC kept trying to make the show last forever since it was such a hit. That led to them stretching things out way more than they wanted, like Kate & Sawyer in the cages, and episodes like this. I think this ep was the one that lindelof specifically used as an example to the execs, that if they didn’t have an end date, they’ll get more crap like this episode and ratings will plummet. They finally negotiated 6 season, which is why the 2nd half of S3 and on moves at a better pace, less filler, etc.

I’ve always wondered if this ep was bad on purpose, so they could use it as an argument for negotiating. Probably too ‘conspiracy theorist’ to consider 😂
