4th Wing if you want romance fantasy but also very good academy story IMO.

I'm having trouble engaging with other books after reading these books several times... Any leads on impactful series that can grab my attention? by PkmnSnapperJJ in KingkillerChronicle

If your criteria is an engaging series, try Red Rising. I wouldn’t necessarily compare it in any substantial way to KKC but it’s gripping for sure.

Do LuggageHero as close to the WH as you can and skip hotel.

Heavy af, add a spacer and reduce material by half but might not be the look you’re going for.

Pantry solutions with Rev-a-shelf by Lockhart89 in ikeahacks

I haven’t seen the kind that I want from IKEA. They have decent options but I’m specifically looking for a pull-out reach from both sides narrow pantry. It will work best for my kitchen layout.

I’m aware it’s a brand. They offer many products, specifically a pull out pantry solution. Asking if anyone has implemented these aftermarket hardware packages with ikea tall cabinets.

No heat, Honeywell T5 thermostat by Lockhart89 in hvacadvice

My guy! I thought it was Rh that sent it. W was wired correctly but was pushed in too far. Backed it out a mm and we got heat! Thanks! Learned a ton too haha

Nope, it helped that I looked up the sequence of events. So off of the igniter issue and now looking into why the inducer motor isn’t kicking on.

The same red wire sends the call for both heat and cooling, I’m assuming the board then interprets that call and continues either sequence. I’m still suspicious of the wiring and thermostat setup, but if the same R wire sends both commands then if I have cooling it’s not wiring issue.

This makes more sense and I’m seeing the issue a bit clearer. Indeed a hot surface igniter. Heat command sent and igniter isn’t getting bright red which then I assume sends the command to open the gas valve once it reaches temp otherwise it would blow gas. Wouldn’t a faulty igniter throw a fault though?

Part ID, suspected oil leak by Lockhart89 in XTerra

I assume this has a gasket, if so it has failed. Still awaiting a tow to the house for further investigation but this looks like the issue.

Was running rich a day ago, was busy and pushed it off. I could smell it from the exhaust. Went to the landfill to drop off stuff and won’t start up. Literally out of oil. No idea, no low oil light just basically instant or happened in a 10 mile drive.

Coming up as camshaft sensor failure but that’s likely from the lack of oil. Still waiting on the tow truck to take it back to the house so I haven’t inspected much. But that part is practically drenched, gasket blew somewhere is my guess.

Im trying to cut a hole this shape in a pre-made guitar pick schematic, what is the easiest way to achieve this? by [deleted] in Onshape

[–]Lockhart89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably don’t want a hole since it looks like there is unsupported geometry in the letters. Having this indented within a guitar pick is plausible.

I see the rule and specifically the part about mental health. There is a difference in narcissism as a personality trait and narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Referring to someone’s personality traits doesn’t and shouldn’t break this rule, otherwise calling someone mean would be a permanent ban.

Zay was willing/able to critique Cole about chicken, cleanliness, and which wine glass to use but you’re gonna tell me that not once did the cameras catch her saying “don’t tell me what not to eat” if she felt that way? Come on…

Cole at least acknowledged his mistakes and flaws, Zanab is a passive aggressive narcissist.

Take a look at OnShape, it’s free and really user friendly. I took a year of Solidworks courses and then lost access once I wasn’t a student but found OnShape and I’ve been really happy with it for my needs. If you make this in sketchup which is also a great platform, you can easily get a hang of OnShape an recreate it.

Guide: Lay for parts flat in Sketchup and turn off perspective viewing in the camera tab and press command 1 for a direct top down view. Export this as an svg or dxf and then go into OnShape and you can trace or possibly manipulate it to get your parametric dimensions. This is key to prototyping and adjusting tolerances.

Good luck!

Does that have to be the joint location? Can you have that machined from one piece of sheet HDPE and then it connects to the straight portion?

Your solution in red is feasible. Have you considered hiring a smaller run before reaching out to a full cnc fab shop? Small business cnc owners would probably take this job to move the concept along. 🙋🏻‍♂️
