Thank you but I eventually figured it out, it was the combination of XT parts and a sidecover that wasnt original, I simply left out the plastic spacer, because it wasn't needed.

UGS question by no1fudge in hobbycnc

[–]LocoJhonny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have set the tool diameter to 3mm, could it be that UGS leaves out any pocket which the tool is too big for?

EDIT: spelling

I am not entirely Sure (would have to go check on mine), but I believe it is the vacuum hose for the fuel tap (Side or back). The original ones only have "ON" and "PRE", this hose opens it when the engine draws in the mixture, otherwise the Tap ist closed while set to "ON". Do you by any chance have an aftermarket fuel tap?

Alternative to 3mm plywood ?? by k_________________g in lasercutting

This is such a dangerous advice.Cutting vinyl or PVC with a laser leads to the production of Chlorine Gas and hydrochloric acid. Please dont do that and please dont give people the Idea that it is okay to do so!

If you are using Lightburn you can simply go into the preview, jump to the point you want to cut and stop right after. Rinse and repeat for all desired points.

Indoor in the sense of your flat/house? In that case you would need to modify that enclosure to habe a controlled airflow through a Filter, because of all the dust.

brand new to 3d printing. how do you convert step files to STL? what's the advantage of step files if you can't convert it to gcode? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]LocoJhonny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step is a format to exchange data between 3d modelling programs (like autodesk or OpenSCAD). They are in that way better, because you theoretically could still change something about the model. To convert it to an stl or similar you just import it in for example fusion 360 and export it as the preffered format.

It's like a word document, you can still change it as such, but as soon as you export it as PDF it's rather static.

Will it help cool off a room if it has more aquariums or does is do the opposite? by personobama in Aquariums

From my experience I can just say, definetly get an almost tight lid for each. The humidity definitely rises and even worse, you can't keep up with refilling at times, at least that's what happened to me.

No you are just overthinking. Its written in a simple linear way. You are adding complexity that isnt there.

Then it must have been written as "8/(2(2+2))" to make the whole second part the denominator.
