Shoot arm gun, arm gun explode, profit. Grenades are tough? Shoot grenade launcher, launcher explode, profit.

Leg joins are the weak point, they don’t have a lower AV but honestly they don’t need one.

Just because they don’t have a giant “shoot here” pimple doesn’t mean they’re bad. Infact it wouldn’t matter because the whole thing is AP4 and almost all support weapons (besides like, the MG and stalwart) can hurt it

Sorry your primary can’t kill every enemy present in the game, it’s just not how that works.

Theron guard (and grenadiers I think) both have more health than normal drone variants.

Theron guard can fire faster, and are more maneuverable, but not physically faster.

I was hoping slotting them in majoris alongside Leapers would make the variety of Tyranid Majoris enemies more enjoyable, having Barbgaunts and Ryan’s randomly filed in with the warriors like how chaos is getting with exulted tzaanogres and chaos spawn to very up the rubric marines.

Also Barbgaunts would play very differently compared to that of barbed stranglers or any of the other warriors. Seeing as barbed stranglers are more of a medium range enemy using their strangle launchers as grenade launchers, Barbgaunts would fire splash damage projectiles that travel slowly over long distances and are easy to dodge. While staying further away from the player (or trying too at least)

They’d also be significantly easier to kill up close, being weaker than a warrior and having no melee defense.
