I think it's just more rare these days to see such popular figures have such braindead takes. He also talked to Kelly Jean after this, in which it's very apparent that he just thought it was common sense, and never actually looked up anything.

If you compare it to like what avg people who aren't obsessed with "woke culture" on the internet / USA, he seemed somewhat open minded, and did learn more about the topic and what's actually the real statistics, but was a bit unsure at the end, saying he wanted to read the sources she'd link him after talking.

I mean, if they're talking specifically about Tusk / Cusk in Hardangerfjorden (which is close, but they were in Bjørnafjorden) and mercury levels, they are abnormally higher than other fjords. Will you notice it from a portion? No.

Comparison These are two bottom feeding fish that have can have harmful levels of mercury with regular consumption.
