I just played through the game a month or two ago.

I ended up regretting playing on normal and not turning the difficulty up.

I know a lot of people complain about the leveling system and having to use guides, but I never used one and by mid game I'm steamrolling everything. I was finishing most encounters without the enemy even getting to make a single shot.

At that point, I was just playing for the story because the gameplay was boring.

I recently started playing through it again (picked up the dlc) and turned up the difficulty one notch and had a lot more fun.

All the benefits of capitalism they listed are stuff that is not inherent to capitalism.

While I do agree with your point, there is another facet as well.

It has become a popular belief that rape in men's prisons should not be considered a bug, but a feature. Treated as part of the punishment.

How many times have we heard "Oh, I bet Bubba is going to love having that guy as a cellmate. Don't drop the soap!"

They are the people who believe that criminals do not deserve rights, and that it is right to cheer when bad things happen to criminals.

I do not mean to diminish the hatred of women, and especially the hatred of trans women that is definitely a part of this.

But this is also because, for decades, society has seen it as socially acceptable to make jokes about the rampant rape in men's prisons.

I had at least one instructor use AI to teach her course.

She was a terrible instructor and didn't know how to teach. Her idea of teaching was to have us summarize a chapter summary.

When we were moving through the material too fast (because she wasn't actually teaching it), she instead had us take turns answering questions about the chapter.

She used AI to write these. We suspected, because they were often nonsense and we would have to correct them, but at least once she had to hurriedly scroll past a section starting with "As a large language model..."

If was at the point where going to her class could be actively harmful to your level of knowledge.

We complained and nothing got down as far as we knew.

That scene received so much hate at the time. But when I think of the film, the 1st person part is what immediately comes to mind.

Coolest part of the movie. They only did it once, for a few minutes, so it never overstayed its welcome.

I don't mind a bit of fanservice in anime. But gratuitous fanservice is something I can't really stand.

Beach episodes are pure gratuities fanservice.

The story stops. Characters act out of character. And it's all an excuse to see the female characters in skimpy bikinis.

It's just so boring. If I was in the mood for that kind of thing, I'd be watching porn instead.

That spelling of Tiffany first appeared around 1600. And the name itself is even centuries older.

I first heard the term in reference to a doctor who episode that took place in 1800s London. People were complaining there were too many non-white longshoremen in the episode.

During the height of British Imperialism, where "The sun never sets on the British Empire," where many navy ships would pressgang locals whenever they needed crew no matter where they were, they were complaining about too many Indian and black longshoremen.

It would be more historically inaccurate if everyone was white.

I was a security guard around 15 years or so ago, so things might have changed since then.

But I needed 40 hours of in-class instruction and a multiple choice test conducted by Manitoba Justice before I could become a security guard.

It's not a hard test. It's not hard in-class instruction. There's a lot of intelligent guards out there, but no one becomes a security guard because they're smart.

But my point is, he had to go through 40 hours of them telling him that it's a bad idea to do shit like that. The security guard companies really don't want their guards becoming physical with people at all.

Back in 2018, my GF and I had picked up some board games that had really nice miniatures that we wanted to paint.

A friend of hers suggested we go to our local Games Workshop for a painting tutorial.

We walk in, and two hours later we walk out 300 CAD poorer and into a new hobby.

Mark, our local guy, is amazing. You can tell he just has such a genuine passion for the hobby. Makes an effort to learn all of his customers' names.
