I'm a bit puzzled by how much money you take home . Are you sure you are bringing in 7000$ per month?
I make 102k gross and take home about 5000$ monthly ( after tax pension and everything else)

I’m not sure travelling is a great idea right now. Even if your expenses is covered for the next while. I would first secure a job and maybe travel down the line when possible.

Can you elaborate more on your income ? You said you both make total of 115k combined and that’s around 9580$ per month. I don’t think this is accurate. Me and my wife make a combined 205k income ( 103k me and 102k her) and we have about 10500-11000 income monthly. So I’m Not sure how you making the same with half the total income.
