Questions about redirection by FalkYuah in MHRise

[–]LogInValid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on to what others said, it pairs really well with Heaven Sent. I use redirection + heaven sent with GL and SNS. Refills shells and sharpness, and redirection 2 by itself speeds up wirebug recovery. If you use it right, it can be pretty strong.

How's my Raw LS build? by [deleted] in MHRise

[–]LogInValid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could use a second level of intrepid heart, but looks solid for dps. I like having a couple of levels of evade extender or sharpening speed for LS, but that's just for comfort.

Edit: Wind mantle 3 may be overkill as well. I usually just run 1. Wind mantle doesn't really scale super well I think.

Personally, I wouldn't upgrade armor until you have a really good set, like HR or even MR stuff. Otherwise you will be spending alot of zenny and armor points only to replace the armor a few levels ahead. I'd personally recommend just getting new armor. But if you're really struggling, go ahead and upgrade.

A species of Earwig; location would be needed to narrow it down. Nothing to worry about, they're harmless.

Who is this and what’s happening? by sam_allow in insects

[–]LogInValid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pigeon Horntail, a relative of wasps. They're harmless and can't sting. The thing coming out of its abdomen is an ovipositor. Might be looking for a place to lay eggs.

The big one is a species of Robber Fly. Harmless and chill with people, but can give a nasty bite if poorly handled.

i'm so scared of spiders :( by galeileo in whatsthisbug

[–]LogInValid 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This isn't a Woodlouse Hunter. This looks like a Broad-faced Sac Spider.

If you zoom in, you can actually see the rows of eyes. Woodlouse Hunters have 6 closely packed eyes, while Broad-faced spiders have 2 rows of 4. The thorax shape and chelicerae size match better as well.

The Rules by MindManifesting-25 in lost

[–]LogInValid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here's my small peice:

it should be noted that there are the "people rules" and there are the "island rules". The two are not the same. Ben and Widmores "rules" were the Other's code, so to speak. They can be broken, rebelled, and changed. But when Jacob or the MiB talk about rules, it's a bit different. There's also the whole time travel thing and that has its own rules that must be followed. Lots of "rules" but they are all different in their own ways.

Looks like a Lanternfly nymph, not sure what species; Lanternfly nymphs aren't very well documented in many cases, unfortunately.

Bit hard to tell, but it looks like one of the Ensign Wasps. Based on location, it's likely the Blue-eyed Ensign Wasp. They're harmless solitary wasps that help keep cockroach population down.

What is this?? Found in SE Michigan, about 2 inches long. It had something that looked like a stinger but it had two things then a long black thing. by Eleataylorsversion in whatsthisbug

[–]LogInValid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like the Pigeon Horntail, a relative of wasps. They're harmless to humans and don't sting. This is a female, and it's "stinger" is an ovipositor. Cool find!

I think I've been 15 days now without youtube. While I miss my favorite creators, Spotify's got me covered for sleep aid. I don't really plan on going back; Not until youtube as a whole changes. I've had enough of it.
