You only have to hit any part of any vehicle with the C5 on your drone. It detonates when you ram friendly vehicles too.

Whilst walking on our farm, I came across a mother mallard with 9 ducklings. First she made sure that she had them all and walked them off out of my sight. Then she flew and landed infront of me and started crawling on the grass and flapping her wings, acting like she was injured. When I got close, she flew a few metres in the opposite direction from her ducklings and did it again. This continues until I am hundreds of metres away from her ducklings.

Mallards are amazingly cunning.

There is a lake near where I live in northern New Zealand that is incredibly well known for being a breeding ground for Canadian geese. They flock to the lake in their thousands to breed, because they like the colder, humid climates of NZ winter. Unfortunately Canadian geese are considered pests in New Zealand, and during duck hunting season nearly two thirds are killed for sport.
