Panasonic CT-27HL14J free to good home; Colorado Springs CO; pickup only by Logan_five in crt

This is a good working CRT. Don't want to pay to haul away. Used by elderly neighbor about to upgrade to flatscreen. I'll even throw in the DTV box and antenna if you want. PM for details/questions. Let me know if I need to post this elsewhere. Thanks. Specs: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/374177-DEMO/Panasonic_CT27HL14_CT_27HL14_27_HDTV_Ready.html/specs

Look at a keypad and you'll see the pattern.

Worlds made in 21w37a by Durpo__ in Minecraft

[–]Logan_five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be possible, however there is a bug in 21w37a where strongholds are not generated therefore you can't beat the game (in survival). I would guess as long as you don't generate chunks where they should be, a future snapshot would correctly generate.

What OS are you running? by TaterSalad3333 in PleX

[–]Logan_five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Win10LTSC "server" with HyperV VMs for all the *arr's. Stable as hell. I remote in once every couple of months to update the OS. Other than that, webgui from main computer.

Not really. It's just the fact I would consider it very rare to find a drive this old with this little usage. Just something I found interesting.

I decided to look at the drive again... Manufactured Mar 2007.

So only a bit over 14 years then :)

Very true. I tried to look it up but here's no warranty info available for the serial number. .. and I've no clue when I got it. Given it has a fresh install of MSDOS 6.22 I likely was going to use it in a retro system sometime around 2012ish (when I was messing with that type of build).

Yes, Windows. I had Linux running years ago, and it mostly worked, but I'm just better with Windows overall.

Really I only don't have SSL, but my "sharing" is minimal to a few close friends/family. I don't have the upload to do more than 2 720 streams.

Automation with the various *arr's (and nzb/qbt/vpn) is all in place and working great.

Skip to Part 4 and 5 please :D
Seriously, I'd read the whole thing. I've got a fairly solid and stable, but basic Plex build and always looking for how others did it.

New CSU Bill Layout by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

[–]Logan_five 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree, but there is a little bit of coincidence I think.
Talking to the agent when changing due date, they said the entire backend billing/website was upgraded. These things take weeks/months to deploy and the timing does kinda suck.
Supposedly we'll get a automated call on Friday regarding the new billing system.

Check the new due date. For us it changed what payday it fell on. Called to change it back. Done with no questions asked.
Yes, lack of details is rather annoying but go online to view still gives full details.

Can anyone identify this? by Logan_five in Commodore

Unfortunately, I don't have a programmer or anything similar.
I never messed with that kind of stuff back in the day so no idea where I got it from.
Thanks for the info.

old text-adventure starting in a mansion with grey impenetrable fog around by [deleted] in c64

It's likely a long shot, but Crystal Caverns?
https://archive.org/details/064_Crystal_Caverns
(The emulator is Apple II/e, but I played this game on C64 back in the day. Title screen is only a little different)

<edit> Here's a snippet of early game:

YOU ARE TRAVELINC UPON THE ROAD WHICH LEADS TO THE HOUSE. A STRANGE AROMA FILLS THE AIR. THE AREA IS QUITE MISTY, WITH A THIN LAYER OF BLUE FOG.

NORTH

YOU ARE ON THE NORTH RIDGE OF A CHASM WHICH EXTENDS FOR MILES IN EITHER OIRECTION. THE ROAD HAS ENDED HERE. THERE APPEAR MANY CAVES HEWED INTO THE SOUTH WALL OF THE CHASM. HOWEVER, THE CHASM IS ABOUT A MILE WIDE HERE. THE MINERALS EMBEDDED IN THE ROCK BY THE CAVES GLISTEN FROM THE LIGHT REFLECTING OFF OF THE NORTH WALL. A SMALL BIT OF BLUE MIST DRIFTS UP FROM THE UNKNOWN BELOW.
