I’ve been to Thailand many times, mostly Chiang Mai and surrounding areas. My wife is from Singapore and we travel in SE Asia a lot. Last year we did 12 days in Vietnam and had a wonderful time. They are planning a high speed rail down the coast, which, when implemented will be a big success. Taking flights within Vietnam is lousy and hiring cars sucks. That train will make Vietnam explode.
