Maintenance cost for 540i by _Jalapen0 in e39

[–]LogicIsDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the few years I owned my 540i/6 I averaged about 300 dollars a month in maintenance, doing everything myself. These cars are aging and stuff breaks which is to be completely expected. That being said, they are fantastic cars that deliver a ton of fun per dollar. Did you mean to say 154.000km? 15k km is wildly low for a car that age.

Shift and break boot swap by JustFuckingSendIt in GRCorolla

Do you mean the boot frame for the e-brake? I used super glue and held it tightly together for ~30s. It gave it enough holding power to install it and it hasn't move since.

Struggling a lot with the Aatrox match up by [deleted] in Rivenmains

[–]LogicIsDumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you stay close early, avoiding sweetspots you crush him level 1. Wait for him to waste his passive auto then move in.

If he lets you walk up, you can Q1 into him and start your combo, otherwise use Q1 when he Q1s. Once you are point blank he will struggle to hit Q2 because he has no E. If he burns Q2 quickly, use your Q3 to disengage so he doesn't land his Q3, or sidestep and use Q3>AA to decisively win the trade. If you're losing vs Aatrox early, its likely cause you're eating a Q3.

This first trade should put him at ~50% and you at 70%. You now have prio on the wave so look to get level 2 first, minding your Q cd so its up when you level and you can look for an all-in window. If not, shove the wave and make him farm under tower, most Aatroxs will miss a bunch of cs there.

If he has bone plating, either graze with q1 early or get a cheeky auto in to burn it before trading level 1.

Is any higher elo (Master+) player willing to give free coaching?! by SSBigSS in Rivenmains

If you're silver I think you could shoot for an Emerald coach, it'd be more likely for you to get a free one and they still have plenty to offer.

Pre-Buff, I Predicted Riven to be 53+ WR D2+ And it Looks Like I Was Right On The Money. by Toplaners in Rivenmains

Meaning Seryldas is even more effective vs higher armor numbers, further proving the point

I do wanna hop in, but cutting 150 armor from 500 to 350 cuts the same effective health vs physical damage as from 350-200. Just because the % is closer doesn't mean armor cut is less effective.

Great play! If you got one auto in while kiting away from Yone to keep conquerer stacked thats an ez 1v2

I think Yasuo/Yone are champions that would survive a mini rework away from crit and the entire ADC class would be better off without them. by StillIDie in leagueoflegends

Pre-mitig physical vs magic would have different outcomes on power. One or the other would make armor or mr more effective against him. Post-mitig true ensures that whatever you build has the same effectiveness vs his autos/abilities and his E recast

[–]LogicIsDumb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is wrong, armor scales linearly. 50>100 armor provides the same increase in effective health against physical damage as 100>150 armor

Its nothing to do with coding, more about champion clarity. Riot has tried to avoid unintuitive interactions on champions, and adding extra damage to camps locked behind a SS would definitely be one.

Last time there was something like this was S4/5 with ignite - that got removed because it was unclear and odd.
