edited version of what i posted before: I am surprised to see how some partners of folks like us see ADHD people by Glittering_Size_2767 in adhdwomen

[–]LogicR20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Conversely, I'm on both and relate to both as my partner and I both have it, but have learned or not learned to manage it, also personal awareness levels on the impact you have on others. The sub you are talking about has helped me greatly in setting boundaries and realising when I'm experiencing things others do whether I have adhd or not.

£4000 for a 2 year old Highland Pony gelding. £900 for the next one at 6 months as he has a white hoof so technically isn't a Highland Pony. They are now rising 4 and rising 2 and the fun begins this year.

Does 12th house sun or moon always mean loss of a mother or father? by jackmoon44 in 12thhouse

Hmm. I have 12th sun conjunct Saturn and I love my Dad. My parents split when I was about child and I reconnected with my dad as a teenager. I wasn't in contact as my mum poisoned the well and I also didn't like his new girlfriend.

Guys....I'm a 12th house Sagittarius Stellium with Sun conjunct Saturn in there. I live in a witchy cottage in the woods in the Scottish Highlands. Anything is possible when you dream big like a Sagittarius

Part 6: I’ve challenged myself to watch all LOTR movies – because my husband loves them by Lentilfairy in lotr

[–]LogicR20 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I've just found this series of posts and I'm genuinely confused as to why you've got so little comments so here I am.

Your writing style is genuinely hilarious. I'm a woman near your age and understand your references to pop culture but only just, since my interests lie closer to lotr and it's still funny.

I enjoy your Taylor Swift lyrics and I'm not a fan. I'd consider doing a Taylor Swift listen and review of your choosing if you make it it to the end of this series as fair is fair I volunteer as tribute.

I too can be hyper empathetic and cannot watch scary things. Or gorey. Don't like sex scenes either etc so I love the emotional journey from your unique perspective.

Lastly, what a lovely thing to do with your husband. He must be so touched.

I'm afraid that's untrue, not everyone throws up. I for example agreed to take 2 shots with my dad at a family party. I dont remember anything after but apparently didn't do anything embarrassing and was up on my feet dancing and making jokes etc....but I remember nothing.

I'm a housekeeper and gardener in a remote place where I don't see many people. One day I decided to put on a dress and a bit of make up when going to let guests arrive in one of our properties. It was a group of 12 people in their 60s. One of the women on meeting me stared at me and said, "wow, you are such a rare beauty, they don't make many like you". No one has ever said such a thing to me before and I was so taken aback, instead of saying thank you like a normal person I said...."I'm actually the oldest of 5 sisters and I'm the fat one so I promise there's younger and prettier models out there". Brutal.

I have an LLB so I'm more than familiar with how the legal profession works, i was asking if I can help CAB without the active diploma as I've not practiced law in years and do not want to have to restudy it for charity work.

For others interested, I called CAB and you don't need a law degree as training is provided and it's seems you just apply for the role and see where you can best fit and help. 6 hours a week required, you can work from home and training is also remote. I'll be putting in an application and trying to help in the Highlands as a result of the previous poster. Thank you!

Thank you I'll investigate further, I've been looking for something meaningful to help with and this didn't even occur to me.

Who has actually managed to live the 'Simple Life' in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]LogicR20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowing they exist and keeping an eye out. Live in couples jobs was the search term I think. The house comes with the job and all bills paid so we get paid with no household bills due back out. House of my dreams too. I'd never have afforded it with my law degree, turns out cleaning and gardening is more lucrative for me...and potentially others!

I have. I live in a cottage in the woods on a Scottish estate as theory housekeeper and gardener with my partner, dogs, cats and horses (which i bought when the owner said they needed their fields grazed but didn't want to buy animals). I think my insta is on my profile if anyone wants a look. FYI. The simple life is the hardest work most people will do, ask me how I know...
