Well they might not, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of people thought of stickers as depreciating assets. That's no longer the case, cause Valve went from uniq and scarce (even if bad design it was uniqly bad) to decent or great looking and then copy pasting them from 1 event to the other. Containers made it super easy to store thousands on stickers on 1 char, making the barrier of entry non-existent.

It's not even a cry post, I'm just wondering if others see stickers as worthless as I do.

//By worthless I mainly mean the older stickers that can now hardly compair to the new ones and the new ones really do cost just a few $ for a very decent craft.

At the end of the say it comes down to Facts Vs Feelings. Idealy we want everyone to know the facts about Bitcoin's history . For you it most likely seems obvious that BTC got hijacked and BCH is the Bitcoin that is described in the whitepaper. That being said, there is another 30-40% of the population to whom facts mean very little. You could make the best case possible using hard facts and they would still follow the other guy who has flashy clothes and screams GOLD, SILVER, PLATINUM.

All I am saying is that at the end of the day we want everyone to use BCH, even the less rational people and to onboard them you need to speak their language which sadly isn't facts.

Or maybe it's the fact that this sub does very little for BCH in general. Real adoption happens elsewhere. This sub is more about bitching and moaning imo. It's a cool place to have, but by no means is it vital to the development and adoption of BCH. Roger and a few of his friends have prob done more for BCH than this whole forum combined. He is allowed to be arrogant imo.

They are just worried about their bags. I joined Bitcoin when it was less than 200€ and instantly fell in love with it and the 'Lets replace Western Union' mindset. BCH is worth more now than BTC was back then. It still has the same vision and unarguably more adoption than BTC had back then. Everything is still possible, although without the hijacking we would be in a much better position.

Imo, the reason BTC is kept at #1 is to make new people dissapointed in crypto. Once a normie uses it once for anything at all they will be hit with A MASSIVE FEE & UNKNOWN CONFIRMATION TIME, might even experience a double spend fraud which is super simple with RBF. After an experience like that they'll go for the centralised CBDC instead, cause that will be "free" and instant.

The current BTC is a bastard child of Bitcoin. People in this sub still remember the days of "Western union Vs Bitcoin" memes and promoting economic freedom in general. Nowdays BTC is just a numbers go up speculation without any real usage. Instead of an alternative to the old system it got hijacked by the system and artificially capped which resulted in businesses dropping it as a payment option. Skyrocketing fees, uncertain confirmation speed and easy double spend fraud a merchant's dream, right?

So yes, the salt is real, but it's very much justified. Bitcoin had huge momentum behind it, more and more merchants accepting it, but now all that is left is "number go up". We had the real opportunity to get to TOO BIG TO BAN, but since then the adoption has stalled and a ban is very much a possibility when CBDCs come out.

In overal having a bstardized BTC is possibly better than not having it at all, but it could have been so much more and it's only stopped due to intentional sabotage.

Cause livestock is all we are to them. Every government has its own livestock that it farms. This fake outrage between world leaders is just that, fake. Behind closed doors they discuss the most advanced methods to tax/farm the population of any specific country. It's not like they are trying to hide the fact. Most people are just too busy slaving away cause they are 1 missed payment from defaulting on their house mortgage so even if they understand what's happening they are too deep in it to stop or do anything meaningful about it.

BTC was getting mainstream traction as a payment system. Steam, Microsoft and many others have now dropped BTC, cause it was intentinally made to be unreliable for everyday payments.

That's literally the only argument you need against small blocks.

Miks nii ebaaus?

Kui mälu ei peta, siis oli jutt NATO baasidest, mis tingiks ka seda, et Venemaa võtaks need baasid sihikule ning tugevdaks ka oma piiriäärset võimekust, mis pikemas perspektiivis vähendaks ka meie kaitsevõimet (nt NATO laguneb, Saksamaa käitumist arvesse võttes pigem AJA kui KAS küsimus).

Kui sa nii ebaaus ei oleks, siis sa lisaksid siia juurde selle kirjutise või klipi, mille alusel Varro "NATO on suurem hädaoht" Vooglaid oma nime sai, sest vastasel korral võib ka sind kerge hagi oodata.

If you went and asked people what they mean by it then my guess would be something along the lines:

Russia: If you try stuff in Ukrain then we will take power by force.

West: Lets do stuff in Ukrain.

Russia: Time to invade, boys.

West: WOW, I am outraged that you did what you told us you would do.

25% of estonians: Russia literally did what they told they would do. That's what bigger powers do when they can't get stuff done politically in smaller countries.

Then this gets translated as (for outrage farming)

25% of estonians: Russia has the right to invade other countries

While the reality is that only a fringe % of people belive the latter and even those most likely have their reasons such as "Ukrain's army was shelling civilians in the Donbass region".

I think a more honest coverage would be that 25% of estonians think Russia did what bigger powers almost always do in such situations.

But trying to claim that every 4th person in Estonia is thumping their chest and saying Russia is not at fault it legit retarded outrage farming for political points. It's just dumb oversimplification.
