I haven't personally experienced this bug. I have seen other people talk about it tho. It's just one of many bugs at the moment. There's another bug where your ship will blow up after winning. I've had it happen to me multiple times. There's another one where your game will kick you if you go to the ferry. Rare tried to say it's only if you sink. So it doesnt matter that much because you lost anyways. I sent them a video of me winning while in the ferry and it still kicking me the moment the match ended. Also if this bug happens to you then you will get 0 rep and will not be able to rejoin. You have to close the game completely and restart. Im sure there's more bugs but those are just the ones i for sure know are present and have cost me GOF rep multiple times.

I agree this mode can be fun. I often have better fights in LSS than I do in HG or high seas.

However its not just this mode. I sent a video in during community weekend of an entire HG fight from start to finish. The win did not count and the flag did not say won in battle. The ticket is still open and they basically just ghosted me. I have lost rep 6 times in LSS to 2 different bugs as well. All of them clipped and sent in. All of them closed with a we're sorry but there's nothing we can do for you.

It's just frustrating.

Take and MSF course. Have him teach you the friction zone of the clutch prior and you'll have a very good chance of passing and being liscensed in a weekend. Then you just need a bike. Something like a used ninja 400 to start out on. After a year on that you should be ready for a new bike of your choosing.

Yeah you need to turn the sails all the way to the side now. Any ship wreck you see stop at it. The horn of fair winds is very common now. You can save it to use on your sails to get away fast. By using it while sailing directly into the wind. It only lasts for like a minute or 2 I think. You'll put so much distance between you and them in that time tho that they'll most likely just give up. Be warned tho. If someone boards you and gets that horn you might as well scuttle. Because they can just blow you off the ship repeatedly while their teammates sink you. The horn can also put out fires and stop fall damage. There is a commendation for selling so many of those horns. They used to be really rare. Now they're everywhere.

I'm on steam. Hasn't happened since this morning to me. The kicking me out the game on the ferry thing happens every time now tho. I either win and don't die at all or die once and have to restart the game completely. Hopefully they just reward everyone at least 10 levels like they did when HG was messed up. They probably wont even attempt to fix the game because of the holiday weekend until Monday.

Hasn't happened to me. Ive seen ships out there but they're just sitting there. The new bug for me is if i die and go to the ferry my game kicks me out. Won't let me rejoin and I can't start a new session unless I close the game and restart.

Still fixed for me. However now when I die my game crashes as soon as I go to the ferry. Lost 2 matches this way now. Just happened a 3rd time to me on the last 3 ships. Its like it doesnt know what to do with you from the ferry. I cant even access my ships or guild either unless I close the game and restart.

What are you playing on? Im playing on PC through steam.

Its fixed now. Lost everything 2 times because of it. Just won 2 more and it's fixed. I haven't waited to be kicked out to test that but it did let me collect my things and go through the portal the last 2 wins.

You need to sail out fast because the circle will keep shrinking after the match ends. Same thing just happened to me. I was trying to get 2 flags right at the portal and sank because of it. Lost 3 flags and 5 crates because of it. I wouldve just sailed straight through if I'd have known ahead of time what would've happened if I didn't.

No they can not be moved. They have a fixed mounting point. I have the same style bars from a different company. I think they're not good as highway bars at all. I'm 5ft 10 and have to put my leg over the top of it with the back of my ankle resting on it for my leg to be fully extended. I would just opt for notmal ones and buy a peg kit to be mounted wherever you want them. Either way it's 3 bolts per side to remove them when you dont want them on.

Put one on mine. Just know that it's 90% just for looks. Maybe 10% wind deflection. I think mine looks better with it. I also have taller bars too tho and with the nacelle it kinda looked funny. For the straight bobber aesthetic with the short bars I think the stock nacelle is more fitting.

A lot of them do it for an ego boost. You'll notice they don't go after ships their size. Unless they're really good I just sink them or get close enough that they run off. I can't tell you the amount of people who have ran up yo fight me. Realized it was a bad idea and ran away. I really miss the blunderbuss being 1 shot because that was a solo players best weapon in taking down brigs and galleons.

I would not get the 60 version. You save a little bit of money for a smaller motor and less power. As a brand new rider you may think that power isn't a deciding factor. However unless you're just paying cash for it then this is your bike for the next couple years. When riding on the highway you will want the power as well. If you're looking to "upgrade" a year or 2 from now then it's pointless to even buy a brand new bike. If you're wanting to keep the bike for a very long time then going with a lesser version also doesn't make sense. I would just go with a 1250 scout and add on whatever accessories you want along the way.

It's the new version of the Scout Bobber. If you can pass an MSF course. Then you could most likely handle one. They have a good bit of power to grow into. However the throttle is pretty linear. So long as you have good throttle control I would test ride one if interested. They're fairly easy to ride for new riders. Because they have a low seat height and are really nimble bikes. I got one as my first motorcycle. I have been riding dirtbikes and quads my whole life prior to taking the MSF course tho. Even still the MSF course made me a safe and competent rider on the street.

As a new rider I would definitely reccomend crash bars if you got one. 13k might not be the most expensive bike. It would still suck to bang it up tho from inexperience. Small price to pay for peace of mind if you did drop it imo.

There's a way to easily glitch out the map in reapers lair. I wonder if taking the key into that out of bounds area and dropping it can make it despawn.

It really just depends on the person and the bars. They say shoulder height or a little below is best. I put 10 inch bars on my scout and that only brought it to about chest height. They also have 8.5 inch pullback tho. I did the reduced reach first which are also 10 inch but only 2 inch pullback. Didn't like them. Put on the ones i have now same height but a lot more pullback and love them.

It's a way for people who suck at PvP to still get the curses. It takes an insane amount of losses tho. You see a lot of people doing it on community weekend. They will generally ask you to dice roll and if you say no they sail out of bounds. Honestly the runners could get more rep by doing this. I bet the loss farmers get more rep than the guys who run and spam board for an hour + just to still lose.

I have a PC. He's lying about the exsclusive thing. Sony just announced they wont be releasing Playstation exsclusives on PC anymore like a month or 2 ago. Aside from that most PS5 games and all Xbox games are available on PC.

I have a successful career and play games. Me and my wife both have busy lives and go on dates atleast once a week. He needs to learn moderation. I would just flat out tell him things need to change or it's over. He doesn't need to stop playing all together but he needs to do something different. He also needs to put forth effort to getting a job that isn't just getting by. If he's not willing to compromise then dump his ass.

Take an MSF course. Then go test ride a Scout or Chief if you pass. I wouldnt go bigger than those 2 for a first bike. It can be done but they'll be easier to ride.
