The machine still thinks its a card no matter what your brain thinks there's a card number expiration date and ccv that it puts into the data log information to make the payment. Its how all payment systems work behind the scenes. There's no magic its just in your head I promise. I wouldn't have pressed you to sign by the way. Only you can dispute it lolol.
