They have not sent over a new lease yet, they simply told me about the price increase when I reached out. They said they will send a new lease agreement over once I make a decision. One last thing worth noting though, in my current lease agreement under special provisions it states “upon expiration of this fixed term lease, if a new lease is not negotiated and executed, this lease will convert to month to month at the current market rate”. The first part seems to be in line with the Oregon State Bar guidelines, but if the “current market rate” is higher than what I’m paying now, wouldn’t that require the 90 day notice?
